Nice Little Wireless Thermometer for the price

Seems like a quality unit. Comes WITH a battery. Easy to pair with my phone, and the app is quite complete with presets. I’ve not yet actually used it. I didn’t realize to get the $5 rebate I had to review this product. I probably won’t use it until May (2 months from now).

Not what I was expecting..

Purchased this to help my cook my turkey for Thanksgiving. It was not as accurate as I was expecting it to be. Alerted me that my turkey was done when it really wasn't it. I thought it might have been user error so I didn't think much of it. I have used this several time since and the same issue. It will alert me that my food is done when it is not fully cooked. I have tried changing the placement of where or how I place it in the food and still seem to have the same issues. So I've since just gone back to my usual digital thermometer.

Connection issues

It would only connect to one of our two phones. Worked okay but not practical for my family if only one person can use the product.

Great thermometer

This works great. The only thing I wish was different is that 2 people can use the app for this. If I use it, then next time my husband does, I have to turn the app off on my phone not a big deal really, just a design flaw. Ir maybe I don't know how to use it correctly.

Don't read temps

I bought therser for the ease of use. I tested therm at room temp, they worked. I put in a drawer and pulled out the ogther day and theya re junk. I tested with hot water, about 100 degrees. ' As soon as I put them into the water they failed to produce a reading in about a second and would not return to any remp until they back to room tempish. I bought two of these and they are both the same. I installed and reinstalled the app, I also trued other apps and it's the same across all, so it's the units. Great idea, but these DO NOT WORK! I am mad and will try somehting else now.

Works Great.

I use it in my oven and my BBQ. Works great, communicates with my iPhone perfectly. Knows official temperatures for standard meats, fish, etc. However, we like medium rare, so just set is a few degrees lower. Alarm on iPhone is plenty loud, so you can’t miss it, if you happen to be in the other room.

Great product, I love this one

My first time buying a thermometer, this one is as good as my expectation. I bought this for low-temp steak cooking, so this thermometer is very accurate with the change of temperature to show the inner temperature of the steak. Also, the needle is long enough to reach the mid of the steak. And, the Bluetooth connection to the phone is easy and fast, you start the thermometer and in just a second it is ready to use. and I have to say the app is well designed, easy to use, and shows the temperature clearly, with temperature alert and timer (I haven't used the timer yet, if there is trouble on the timer I will update the comment).

difficult to connect, batteries drain really fast

was hard to connect the thermoment to the app once it connected it works fine just don't walk away to far with your phone. Also the batteries drain sooo fast.

not long enough range to check temp from kitchen.

Our Traeger is in the carport and the distance is a little to far to read so we check from the bedroom which is closer to the smoker. Nothing against the product this was our error. The product is otherwise great and easy to use. Was a great stocking stuffer for hubby.
