Really solid thick piece of metal

The picture from Oklahoma Joe itself does not do justice to this amazing griddle. The metal is much thicker than pictured, and also it appears to be constructed from a single piece of steel for both the sidewall and the main piece (vs welded together). Since I use it with a weber grill, I did drill two holes in the grease channel to allow grease to drain into the grill from where it continues down into the drain pan. One issue is that the surface seems to be not very flat, instead it seems to be concave, thus a typical griddle scraper/chopper may not work too well on this griddle. I do not know if it comes this way, or is it changing shape because of heating. Happy with this purchase.

Heavy Hot and Sturdy

Great fit for my Kamado grill with 20 inch cooking surface, I place this on top of the cast iron grids, it fits like a glove and it cooks evenly.

pretty heavy item,,

not sure why it needs to be cured,its not cast iron,,bigger than what i expected.I like the collection well on the edge to capture the grease...have not used it yet will give update later.i want to use this in a different manner.

WORKS GREAT ON AKORN GRILL

Fits nicely on an Akorn Grill. Works to make smash burgers and other stuff done on one of the flat top grills.
