Spoon bowl shape

Beautiful however bowl shape of this spoon is more rounded than the original spoons.

Discovered the other day that we only had 10 forks of a Nido set that we purchased a mini years ago. It was great to go on Amazon, and order the additional forks that we needed and they arrived today.

Knife has changed shape

We have used this pattern for about 20 years, and just keep reordering replacements as needed. This year we debated just starting over with an everyday utensil set. These were on sale or special for prime day, bought 2 full sets. I had read the reviews about some changes and still went ahead. I am disappointed this pattern has been altered the knife is now flat, the handle no longer domed, it is noticeable difference and may be the end of us buying this pattern. The knife feels compressed and odd after so many consistent years of purchases. I am actually going to reach out to Oneida and see if this is now the pattern or if the domed knives are still available. If you are new to this it might not be an issue, if you are like us and add pieces as time seems to make them vanish, you too might be unhappy with this change.

Not like my previous set.

I love the pattern of this set however it is much lighter in weight than my previous Oneida set. Another thing is that the dinner fork is short--it is the same length as my old SALAD forks. The new salad forks (and the sugar spoon) have a really pretty shape but the end tine on the left side of all the forks have an irregular shape. The bowl of the soup spoons is really large--like serving spoon side so you can barely fit it in your mouth. I'm a little disappointed because I expected better quality from Oneida. I really loved my old set but it has been discontinued and I can't find replacement pieces.

Nice set with extra serving spoons. Use them everyday and are happy with the set.

Reasonable price

I have a set of Oneida from when I use to work at Strawbridges which was years ago. This is a good brand and yes it will last. My only complaint is that the spoons were teaspoons and not table spoons. They didn’t do a good job making sure this detail was included in the description. The spoons are very small.

Replacement yes, quality no.

Being able to order replacements after all these years was stellar. However, the new utensils are lighter in weight, less refined in detail, and beginning to discolour after only a few shot months.
