It works

I just needed this temporarily and it worked as desired. The two sides tightened up and did not leak. It was easy to tighten up the one side on the fixed pipe and have the swivel-ability to easily tighten up on on the hose end. It seems fairly light weight and may not hold up long term, but it’s cost effective and been fine for my needs. I guess if I need to use it regularly taking it on/off frequently, then a more robust version might be worth spending more. But I’m not sure spending more actually gets anything better. Anyway, I’m happy with it.

Don't be hesitant if appears loose or wobbly at joint

Seems a bit wobbly and loose like at first but hadn't leaked yet and seems okay now that everything's been tightened up

Great adapter for connecting garden hoses where you need to connect two male hose ends together.

Great adapter for connecting garden hoses where you need to connect two male hose ends together. I use this for my utility pump. The pump has two male connectors (one for the in port and one for the out port) and the water heater or rain barrel I am emptying usually has a male connector as well so this easily converts one of the male ends to female and let's me hook everything up.

Not what picture shows but will work if I want do 2 hose's together

Well if you want a 3/4 standard pipe and 3/4 hose fitting like the picture ???? shows don't buy this . If you want to connect 2 hoses together this is your fitting. I gave it a generous 2 stars ???? because it is a decent fitting I think, we will see if I ever need to use it .

Perfect

I use these on a camping hose reel, so I can wind the hose up backward. This way the hose is in the proper orientation to hook up to the spigot or add another hose as needed.

Better to have a spare

Not often you need one of these but if you do, better to have it on hand.

Not suitable for UK use.

Uses U.S. Garden Hose Thread (GHT) so not suitable for use in UK where garden hose threads are usually BSP threads.
