Flimsy, but easy to install

These sprinklers are very flimsy and break regularly. Easy to remove and install.

Didn't buy them for the pop up function

After checking prices and comparing with the non popups, I realized that the popups were below 2 bucks and the solids were over 6 bucks. Since the plastic housing will last forever I bought the pop ups for one reason only and that is for the brass spray nozzles as they fit on non popups also. I never found just the brass insets and this was a cheap way to get them to replace a bunch of ancient brass insets. I wrote this just to give a tip to buyers.

Can't find these at the local hardware store in stock

Can't find them at any hardware store in stock. I don't know if they're making these old fashioned sprinklers anymore. Now they have the tube type of pop-up sprinklers or the screw on head sprinklers. But these are the best sprinklers they're better in brass.

It's a sprinkler!

I like that water flows through it and comes out the top to water my lawn and keep it green. I dislike that it doesn't always drop back down into its "resting" position after the watering is done. I HATE that teenagers, angrily mowing the lawn as if no one has ever been asked to mow a lawn in the history of this planet or any other, chop those exposed heads off. And I hate teenagers. That's no crime, don't judge me.

flimsy--all metal next time I buy

They are only good for a quick fix, but do not last--don't retract after sprinkling because they do not weigh enough, crack easily, sprayer shoot out of the bushing/gasket, meant to keep it in place. They just do not last. Next time, I'll buy all metal and pay the higher price.
