Don’t need as much as you think.
Make sure to only use a little at a time. I use it on my eyebrows and eye lashes and when I first started using it, it got everywhere haha.

Good for lots of different things
I use it to rub into my joints for arthritis. My daughter uses it for a moisturizer and also uses it on her eyelashes. My best friend uses it to moisturize her hair. Sometimes the old remedies are the best ones!!

Works great as a carrier oil for homemade serum
This works great for a homemade lash serum. I make these in very small batches (about a Tablespoon at a time): in a small jar or bottle (save your empty pill bottle if you have one), This is more art than science, but I use about a TBSP castor oil, a few drops rosemary essential oil, several drops DMSO (optional), and a few drops bimatoprost (the generic form of the active ingredient in Latisse) (also optional). (You can order bimatoprost online. I use all day chemist .com) If you use DMSO, BE SURE TO APPLY ONLY TO CLEAN EYES. DMSO carries these prostaglandin ingredients, and everything else, deeply into your skin, and you don’t want it to carry toxins in as well. That would include cosmetic or cleansing chemicals, your own sweat, lash mite body pieces or poop, or environmental dust and dirt. Once you figure out what to use for your own serum, DON’T fill the mascara wand jar full of your formula. DON’T!! Castor oil will thin when it warms to your body temperature and spread all over your face. Instead, this is why we mixed it in a separate jar: Just pour enough from the jar into the mascara wand jar (the one that came in your kit) that the top of the wand can touch the serum when the jar is upright. That alone should last you weeks before you need to refill from your first jar. Shake your serum every time you’re about to use it (because oil and water don’t mix; the bimatoprost is mostly water—if you have no emulsifying ingredients in there, they will naturally separate). Then let everything run back to the bottom of the jar and scrape your wand along the side of the jar. You’ll still get more than you need, really, but it will help conserve product and reduce what spreads all over your face (but if you use just castor oil, the rest of the skin around your eyes might appreciate the treatment too). Also consider to swipe the base of your lashes/eyelid (because your eyes are clean, right?) with the mascara wand, to stimulate circulation. It takes months to see a difference, but it does make a difference, and this is the most economical lash serum I can imagine, because the ingredients in it will last a couple years. The castor oil can be used for many other things, so it doesn’t have to go rancid before you use it all (storing it in the fridge is an option to preserve it if you don’t use it much otherwise). I use it a couple times a day when I’m not wearing makeup.

This product does exactly what is described and more
This product not only works great for eyelashes, but for so many more beauty applications. Like nails, scalp and dry ends of hair, I especially like to add it to my daily moisturizer. This is an all around great beauty product.

This Is Heaven In A Bottle
I just got this yesterday. I am so happy and so in love. I put it into my hair last night; I smothered it good. Nearly from root to tip, all over my head, massaging in the scalp as best as I can. I left it in in a bun on top of my head for about 12 hours. This morning I pulled out some baby shampoo (just from Walmart) and washed it out. It came out with a normal amount of shampoo and it was absolutely effortless!!! My hair today looks like model hair. It's the first time I've worn it down in months and all night I have been taking pictures of it and showing my friends because they know I am focusing on my healthy hair. I am so excited to use this from now on two times a week, for a 12 hour period overnight before I shampoo. I wash my hair about every 3-4 days. I feel I've noticed an almost instant thickness and growth in my eyebrows since applying too. I'm also enjoying it for an oil all over my face and for washing my face off at night. I am also taking biotin, I am about 26 or so days in. My hair is growing so fast, so healthy and long and it feels so much thicker already. Between this and biotin I feel my hair will literally look like Kate Middleton's in a very short time. I am so so so happy with my results. I'm so glad that I got this. My hair has turned around dramatically in such a short period of time and I am incredibly appreciative of these two things. My biotin is from Walmart because that's what was recommended to me; it's like $5 for a bottle and it's the 10,000 mcg with keratin. Just drink lots of water and your skin will be fine. I also have another stronger biotin supplement that's liquid that I purchased from Amazon, which I'm going to use once this bottle is out. My hair has gotten so much life back in just a month and I think baby shampoo might be my new go-to, thing, too. If you are looking to add thickness, length and shine to your hair, I think there are many wonderful ways that will work quickly for you. I can tell you that for me, biotin and this oil are two things that I am seeing such great results with and I am so excited to see how happy and incredible my hair looks now in six months!!!!!!! You can have really, really good hair for like, VERY little money. The things I've described here are about $2 (for the shampoo), $15 for this (and there are cheaper ones out there, too!), and $5 for the biotin pills. I highly recommend this. Everyone deserves to love their bodies, feel and look their best, and be confident in their own hair. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I know what it's like to wish your hair looked good and literally that was me a month ago!!!!! So I had to sit down and write this review before going into the shower, for every version of me who wasn't sure what to do, all I can tell you, is try this and believe it will work wonderfully for you. You have nothing to lose!!!!!

Meh
The media could not be loaded. This was my first time using castor oil and I was a little disappointed so I'll start off with my cons: The package came with everything above just as described, but I did not notice it to work for hair growth as much as I had hoped. I only used it on my eyelashes and eyebrows (applied every night before bed) but I didn't notice a huge difference in growth. I've uploaded a photo of my eyelashes sans makeup over the last 33days for reference, but it's worth noting I have pretty blonde tips of my eyelash hairs so my eyelashes don't look very long in the photos but with colored mascara look a lot longer. Second noteworthy con was the stale smell in the oil. I use very little and usually only catch the scent when applying it to my eyelashes so it wasn't a huge deal, but it didn't smell great. The consistency was thick but oily (go figure) so I found it would sometimes irritate my eyes in my sleep if it somehow found its way in. I only apply it to the root of my lid and the top of the lashes but you have to press pretty hard and wiggle to get any oil off the wand because its so crummy so that likely helped the oil onto my lid and it found its way into my eye after that. The handle of my wand broke after about 2 weeks (see photos) so now I just have a little stump to hold the wand with which sucks. I have no idea how it broke it sits in my vanity drawer all day and night and I don't overtighten things so I think it's just cheap quality. I also found the other utensils that came with the pack pretty useless because you can't swap them on the wand so you would have to clean them after each use or find a sanitary place to keep them in between uses which is just not worth it IMO. The mascara wand doesnt do a great job at applying the oil either and it releases next to no oil without being pressed so you have to be sort of aggressive with your eyelid and lashes which is unreasonable for some people (see my video). Now for the pros: I did notice less eyelashes falling out when I curl them so that was awesome. I also noticed (in my photos) that my eyelashes look darker which is pretty nice as well. My eyelashes also do look like they've grown a bit and my eyebrows seemed to have a bit more growth as well. Another thing I was worried about was breakouts from the oil as I have sensitive skin and breakout easily but this oil didn't break me out once. I actually found using it in my eyebrows helped moisturize them so I got less breakouts there over the last month than usual. All in all I wouldn't recommend this process to anyone as I feel it's more trouble than it's worth, however I will continue to use it and follow through as I've already made the purchase. I may feel it's worth it more in the winter when I tend to lose a lot of eyelashes from brittleness, but for right now at the end of springtime I feel like it has only minimal benefits.

I wish I started this sooner!
I have been using this on my hair. I have lost a lot of hair lately due to hormones and stress and I have seen a visible difference using this. I use it once a week- 2T castor oil, 1T Jojoba Oil, 1T Olive Oil, 1-2 drops each of peppermint and tea tree doTERRA essential oil heated in a bowl within a bowl of hot water. Place on scalp with dropped and massage, place shower cap and warm a towel and wrap your head. Leave for 20mins to all night! You can mix with egg and honey as well. Love it!

Not for me!
Ok, so I ordered this product about two months ago hoping to love it! I bought it for two reasons: to help keep my lashes healthy, and to use on my scalp to keep my hair looking healthy! The first time I tried it on my scalp was also the last time I used it on my scalp lol the texture was waaaaay thicker than I had expected, and was impossible to spread on my scalp. I had to use more product that I was hoping for just to cover the whole surface, which was a huge mess and a big no no for me. I woke up with the greasiest hair/face/pillowcase! And unfortunately, that was just the end for that! I wanted to love it and try the product out but the chaos of it all just wasn’t worth it for me! I continue to use the oil on my lashes, however, due to the thick consistency I don’t like using it often, because I wake up with oil everywhere!!!!! I can’t genuinely tell you if the product works or not, because I just don’t use it as often as I should, I just ended up hating the texture! It’s a bummer, because I’m sure it works well, I just can’t use it because it’s way too thick for me! Love that the bottle is so big though, and the extra containers that come with it for lashes and brows are cute (although my lash bottle does leak).

After 2 weeks, I'm already seeing a difference
I tried this on my eyelashes, eyebrows and scalp for the last 2 weeks and I am already seeing new hairs at my hairline. So far, not much difference noticed on my eyelashes or eyebrows, but I will keep with it. From what I have read about castor oil, it doesn't work on everyone. I mixed mine 50/50 with organic coconut oil and a few dashes of lavender oil. Eyebrows and eyelashes I do at least once a day while my scalp and hair I only apply every other day.

It is perfect
Received product today on time and in excellent condition . I like that the bottle top has a nice little pour spout to control the amount dispensed. This is my first time using castor oil. There is little to no scent which is nice. This Castor oil is thick and looks to be of great quality. It came with some nice application tools for applying to your lashes eyebrows etc. The tools are very nice and not flimsy made of a hard plastic. Very happy with the price point.
