Works ok, but about 1/3 of the cubes are misshapen.

I purchased three hexagon ice trays from various vendors at the same time. I wanted to get hex ice of various sizes and this was the largest one I could find. Overall the construction is solid, and it definitely makes large blocks suitable for an old fashioned, or other low dilution cocktail. The material seems thick enough and durable enough to survive repeated use, and the ice demolds relatively well. Unfortuntely I can't give it a five star review because there are some significant design flaws. The mold has a single flat bottom sheet with dividing walls, instead of individual pockets for the ice. This results in a significant drop in wall stiffness. It might not be an issue with smaller cubes, but with these large ones, it frequently results in an oblong shape with curved sides. Additionally because there are no individual pockets, it takes a lot of work to get the ice out of the tray. When it works right, it works well, but be prepared to crush/toss about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice if you are looking for perfect shapes.

Very nice trays

These are great trays. They make nice uniform hex sided cubes that are great for use in cocktails or just about any cold drink. Since the silicone is flexible you do have to take care to not spill water after filling them but that is to be expected. Cubes are easy to remove from tray and you can stack trays at least two high.

Makes great, gorgeous ice cubes!

I like the octagonal shape of the ice that these make. They don't dilute drinks as quickly as smaller ice cubes do.

Addresses several issues in other products

This fixes several problems with making cubes for old fashioned’s. The hexagon shape fits better in a glass than square and the sphere cube molds leak water. Very nice quality (thick) silicone mold.

Great size and a fun shape/addition to your kitchen.

Amazing addition to my kitchen. The ice cubes add an extra touch to any drink because of the size and shape. They are amazing and I love the silicone because it makes it easy to get the ice cube out unlike a plastic mold.

The ice cube is as big as those individual round ones and there is no top to fiddle with. JUST FILL IT AND CHILL IT!
