You need some electrical skill

I purchased the vacuum, the 15 feet extension hose on Amazon, the main hose (50 ft), and the kit directly from the manufacturer. The reason I bought this model and the 65 feet hose is because I am planning to install the vacuum inside my garage. So the 65 feet is needed to reach the farthest room upstairs. When all the parts arrived I began installing the vacuum. It wasn’t difficult but I was a bit confused while installing the hose, because the hose can be rotated even after getting plugged in. I was only confident in plugging it in after figuring out the relationship between the hose and the two metal pins on the plug. After trying out the vacuum a few times, I learned that while the vacuum turns on, it could only be turned off by being unplugged. So I contacted the manufacturer the next day (it says on the instructions to contact the manufacturers before returning). Their customer services was very good and said maybe a wire wasn’t connected properly, leading to the PC board not working which is very easy to fix. Then they said they will mail a new one to me and I can change it myself. I agreed though a little suspicious. I received the PC board a week after and took apart the vacuum and PC board from instructions and found that a nature wire wasn’t connected to the PC board. After comparing the old and new PC boards, I found out that there were two white wires attached to the old PC board that needed to be cut.The two white wires were so short you have to cut it very close to the old PC board. Attaching the wires to new PC board was easy but it was difficult securing it because the new PC board has a thicker screw. So I took an electric screw driver and drilled the hole bigger and successfully installed the PC board. Then I tested the vacuum and thought it was pretty good, the power is strong enough. In conclusion, this product is simply built and is easily installable and repairable. The motor has enough power to vacuum but it’d be nice if the hose plug had a lock. When using the vacuum, the motor gets really hot, I’m not sure if that damages the product or not. Lastly, the 65 feet hose gets tangled together when developed and collapsed,so some patience is needed.

Great vacuum for garage

Nice and quite the only thing I think they could do better is maybe have the connection from the hose to the unit at maybe a 90 degree angle

Solves all my vacuuming problems!

I have been wanting a whole house vacuum for years but didn’t want to deal with installing the piping. Purchased this unit along with the 50 ft, high voltage hose and power head kit. The vacuum works great! It was easy to Install in a centrally located hall closet and can reach the entire house. I did use a mounting board as recommended in the instructions book although their marketing pics show it installed directly into the dry wall. I love the fact it has a collection bag that is huge and disposable. We have heavily shedding pets and now there is no more clogged vacuum and nasty disgusting dust container that I would have to empty 10 times with my old upright ‘pet’ vacuum. It’s quiet too compared to my old upright. Highly recommend this unit.

For the money ithorrible

Does not last always breaking down. The customer service is awful sends wrong parts and takes forever once they say ok. Donotwaste your time or money and do not get the extended warranty.

Louder than advertised

This is a phenomenal machine I got sick of replacing cheap vacuums I had an old shark that was on its last limb I got this machine with the deluxe kit I have put this machine in my hall closet the machine is ridiculously powerful it’s very good for pet hair. One big huge warning to anyone that buys it or the next user This machine does not come with any type of filtration bags I have to order them separately I have a 2000 square-foot house I bought the 45 I was thinking it was long enough and it wasn’t that was on me other than that I absolutely love this machine highly recommend it and the best part is is if you can get either a 10 year warranty a 25 year warranty or a lifetime warranty Very happy with his friend OVO you’re the best

How has this not existed before??

Having grown up with a full-size central vacuum, I have always hated dragging normal canisters around the apartment or banging normal upright vacs into everything. This OVO machine fits right into my front hall closet - WITHOUT taking up any useful space, since he hangs on the wall. Everything I used to keep in the closet is STILL in the closet - above, below and beside this cute little dude. The OVO is quieter than my Dyson stick vac AND my retired Eureka canister vacuum, the suction is insane, and the dirt bag is enormous. I purchased the accompanying OVO hose and attachment kit to go with this, and it allows me to clean the entire apartment without ever needing to drag stuff around. Best of all - NO need to cut holes or install pipes. I might still do it eventually, but the machine works perfectly as it is. Just stick the hose in the front and off you go. I was suspicious, thinking this was a "pretend" central vacuum. It is absolutely not. This is a full-power, quiet, dirt-stands-no-chance cleaning machine. If you want a central vacuum, and this one fits your home and your budget, I doubt you will have any regrets. I don't!

The vacuum was very easy to install. Suction was very strong. The electric beater bar is great, but doesn’t seem to suction from the sides.

Really great product

We wanted a vacuum that is as powerful as a central vacuum but didn't want to open our walls to have the piping install. When we saw this product, we decided to give it a chance and we are so happy about this decision. The vacuum is really powerful, super quiet and fits anywhere. It is so light that we can move it where ever we want. Honestly, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a central vacuum but don't want to deal with piping installation.
