PERFECT - but the "new & improved" isn't as good...

These were the very best for larger stick applications, such as obtaining blood for INR point of care testing. BUT a new version was just introduced, and it seems to obtain less blood, and a second poke has been needed. The original are yellow with a dark gray top. The "new" version are off white with a light blue top. Fortunately, I was able to get an extra supply before they're completely replaced...

These are sooooo much better than the lancets that go in the pen

I think they sent me the 1.8mm ones instead of the 2.4mm ones, but these still work very well. My problem with the lancets that you put into that pen is that they just weren't going into my fingers far enough to draw enough blood for the strip to work. These are much easier to use, hurt less, and go deeper.

very good single-use 21 gauge lancet

a bit light on the trigger, but easier to use than just holding a lancet for a permanent device and simply jabbing yourself ..... can be re-cocked using the safety tab if you got a dry puncture
