Includes one pack of 10 paints. Clean brushes with soapy water. For application, Pebeo recommends using pure squirrel brushes which are ideal for painting on silk as they are soft and very thin, with a high retention capacity. The setasilk colors are fixed by ironing 3 to 4 minutes on the reverse side of the fabric with a hot iron; 48-hour after fixing, colours resist handwashing and dry cleaning. The setasilk colors can be used on all types of silk; they may be thinned using setasilk thinner; the colors are air dry in a few minutes. The setasilk boxed set includes 10 assorted 45ml bottles: ebony, primary yellow, cyan, beaver brown, moss green, coral, hermes red, raspberry, gitane blue, oriental green.

Love These Silk Paints

I paint on Habotai silk and then free motion thread paint. Love these bright, clear, saturated colors anc the bottle is great for dropping a drop of two into a ceramic pallet. Dilute with water. The wash away wax resist is also a must have.

Quality & Convenience

Love the paints, especially love the cap with attached dropper for easy measuring and extraction. However, paints come in a thin poster board box. This item was shipped in a large envelope which was then stuffed into my mailbox. The box was crushed but I was able to tape it all over in and out. Luckily no paint jars were cracked.

Best silk paints I have used

These silk paints are perfect. As easy to use as watercolors, I was able to make a beautiful portrait of my friendʻs late dog the first day I had them. They flow smoothly, are good for watercolor effects or dry brush, and set well if you follow the instructions. I am now a confirmed Setasilk fan!

Excellent silk paint

Excellent silk paint. When using cotton as a medium it paints like watercolor. To avoid bleeding have a hair dryer on hand.

Not as pictured

The set they gave me did not match the photo, it has less colors. But still good value for the money. I think the one in the photo was the old version that they discontinued. I love working with Pebeo silk paints. It is very versatile in its uses. Only drawback about buying a set is that I don't use all the colors. BUt very good for starters.

Lovely range of colours
