When you open the package, you’ll find our Pendaflex collapsible file box, shipped flat inside the lid for easy set up. Just lift up the box walls, insert the bottom panel, and you have a fabric storage bin. To use with letter or legal hanging file folders, you can quickly assemble and insert the interior file frame. The frame sits low enough in the box to allow clearance for hanging folder tabs when the lid is on. Letter files can be used along the width of the box and legal files can be used along the length of the box. Hanging files glide easily along the tube-like rods and the lid keeps dust from collecting on your files or whatever you store inside. Made with strong MDF, these storage bins are wrapped with dark heather gray fabric with silver metal handles. There are two label areas; one on the front and one on the side, so you can see your labels whether you store them vertically or horizontally. White paper inserts are included. The interior of the box is wrapped with black fabric. Versatile enough to use in your home office, living room, closet, laundry room or bedroom, this large fabric storage bin with lid will fit in nicely with your home décor. These handy organizers keep the clutter contained beyond file storage. Consider using for stuffed animals, toys, books, crafts, homeschool supplies, knitting tools, photo albums, scarves, hats, gloves, blankets, pet supplies, and more. This portable file box collapses down and can be stored away, if needed. Interior box dimensions: 16"L x 10"H x 13"W. Overall exterior box dimensions with lid: 17"L x 10.875"H x 14"W.

An ideal choice for desk accessories & workspace organizers, closet organizers and storage; exterior dimensions with lid: 17"L x 10.875"H x 14"W; interior dimensions of box: 16"L x 10"H x 13"W. Decent
These are beautiful. The look once they're put together is great. My concern is the strength of the bars that hold the files inside. They bent down very far before I even had half of the files in the box.

The plastic clips are garbage
One photo shows a GOOD plastic clip - notice the slots for the rods. They are straight, perpendicular to each other, and run the length of the clip. The other photo is a BAD plastic clip - one hole is crooked, the other is non-existent, so you can’t assemble it at all. Out of the four bins I ordered, two of them had useless clips. Returned those.

Bar that holds the folders bends
Bar bends can’t add all the folders that I wanted to. Only took 20 folders before it started to bend, folders weren’t full, about ten papers on average to each folder. There is a lot of room left in box and I can’t use the space. The box itself was nice. But over all Disappointed

Ya girl stabbed herself trying put it together.
When I tell you it's an event trying to put it together. Opening the box up, putting the bottom in is easy peasy, but trying to get the little metal rails in the corner pieces--guys. Make sure you up to date on your Tdap just in case. It wasn't a deep wound, just broke the skin, but still. Something so simple in design shouldn't be this tough. I nearly gave up, thinking the pieces sent were the wrong size, but because I'm an obstinate little ploop, I gave it another go. Thought about using a hammer, but didn't want to break the corner bits. So! The trick is to use a shorter rail to...idk relax? the holes in the corner pieces because I think they are almost imperceivably smaller. So stick a shorter rail into all the holes and put that rail aside. Then get the longer rails fitted into the corner pieces because they're the tricky ones. I had to wiggle em. Like really wiggle. Sometimes side to side, other times in circular motions. Once they're in, it's all down hill from here with the shorter ones and the rest of the set up. Other than that, I like how it looks (though it's darker in color than I thought it would be; the first image is less accurate than some of the others), and the handles feel solid. So it should work. It smells funky, but I'm hoping that will go away.

The folder supports are small round metal bars that sag.
They are great but the support bars are small round metal that sag in the middle. Would have been better to make them flat metal bars so they wouldn’t sag.
