No basket

I would not install the basket for this style drain. It catches the hair but you need to unscrew to remove the hair. Needing to do that every few days is not worth it.

Works well, but cleaning isn't as easy as I would have liked

Easy enough to install (recommend you buy the tool!) and use, but cleaning out the trap properly requires pliers to get everything out. It's a wee bit inconvenient, but it does trap hair and such and keeps me from using loads of drain cleaner.

Stopped holding water

The stopper worked great for 2 weeks then the rubber seal stopped sealing

Does not include the drain adapter

This tub drain toe touch stopper appears to be good quality. I am only giving it 3 stars because the description said it includes a drain adapter. I had already bought a drain stopper, which was not wide enough. I bought this one expecting it to include the adapter for the larger drain size in my older tub. Now I need to order an adapter. I have not installed this yet and can not comment on it's operation.

Fits a standard bath tub perfectly

Changed out my old tarnished faucet with this new tub insert. Fit well! Watch YouTube to see how to remove old faucet and what tools/supplies you need to replace. We bought a remover tool from Amazon and some plumbers putty to secure the new one. Everything installed nicely!

Good but…

Product was easy to install and has functioned great but has started to have discoloration over time. Would have spent a little more if that was something I knew about. However, it is still a cheap alternative for people on a budget.

Great Product for the money!

I purchased this drain replacement because my very expensive original drain deteriorated. I ordered the replacement from the high end company as well and compared them with each other. I could not tell the difference. The WaterWorks product is heavy, sturdy and the finish is beautiful. I used the WaterWorks product because it even comes with a drain screen as well at a very low cost. I am very impressed with this product and would purchase this and recommend this to anyone.

Well made, solid piece

I really wish it had fit my tub drain. It says 1 1/2” which is the measurement of the one i’m replacing but, unfortunately, it is more a 1 3/4” size so too large. It’s a shame as it is a quality product.

Good quality, solid product.

Unfortunately, although we liked this product, it did not fit the bathtub in our basement bathroom (which has a 1" diameter and fine threads). This product is 1.5" in diameter with coarse threads. We have returned it for a refund. I would like to point out that the word used in the description is incorrect. It is not foot actuated, but FOOT ACTIVATED.
