Very sturdy

I looked at hundreds of fireplace tool sets. I love this one. It is very stable and sturdy but looks sleek. The base does not wobble and there is not a worry it will fall over. We use it every day all winter and are extremely pleased with the quality and the look of it. The handles are integrated into the piece so they don't come unscrewed like our last set. It is well built!

Disappointing. Seems ok but came damaged.

There were chips, the price point doesn't seem to add up but there is not much quality when it comes to fire place accessories on Amazon. I was going to write to the company but the only option is to return the product which is a bit of a hassle over scratches. Wish they came undamaged. Seems to be durable metal but cheap wood-plastic coverings? Not something I would recommend. Wish there was a high quality product out there for fire play accessories at a descent price point. Not sure of the other reviews but clearly not worth the money. Maybe go for something more expensive from this company (maybe better quality) but save your money if you were thinking of getting these.

hard to write

I have not had these long enough to really write an accurate review, it is summer, we have not used them, but they seem like they are sturdy and will work well. I like how they look and they seem heavy duty.

May or may not be actual "Pilgram" brand.

May or may not be actual "Pilgram" brand. No tag on the piece coming out of the box. Listed as CRS502707 Fireplace Tools etc from crosslinksmart.com on the box but not one mention or tag indicating Pilgram brand (which is higher quality). Unit looks same as pictured, quality appears average, we will give it a shot but had I read a review like this one I would have thought longer before buying.

Great Hearth Tool Set

I bought these for my son, sight unseen, hoping they would be substantial, decorative, and work well. All three were accomplished. The tool set fits in perfectly at his home and is heavy so that it doesn't fall over. The feature that I liked the best is that it is all one piece, so the tops do not come lose and fall off. I love it.

I liked the weight and feel of this set. I used to have a set with knob handles but they would never stay teghtened down. The set does not does not take up much room.

High quality fireplace tools

I looked for fireplace tools for a long time and in many different places like fireplace shops and hardware stores. I could not find anything of good weight or quality so I looked online and found these. They arrived and I could barely lift the box. Once open, they had a simple, elegant, wrought iron design; were easy to assemble the stand and work perfectly.

Screws too short and Center nut holes are stripped

I returned the first set I received hoping that the next set would put together properly. It didn’t. Screws were too short to secure to the Center nut. Also several of the holes in the Center nut were stripped so the screws would not catch and hold.

Bad craftsmanship

Threads in the coupler which hold the complete unit together came stripped unit is vary wobbly I now have to make the correct parts so it will work correctly
