excellent PT for hand

terrific little piece of equipment to aid on hand after surgery. Just the right amount of stimulation to get muscle going. Small enough to carry in your purse and quiet to use

Works perfectly

Just the right amount of massage pressure. I’m using it on my wrist after I had surgery to put in a plate after a break. One thing to note - you do have to remove a plastic tab in the battery.

light massage action

Ordered this to use on my sinuses when they hurt and are full.. I am not sure this will be very helpful as it is not as strong massage action as I would like..

Had a tendon repaired and this has helped brake down the scar tissue so I can move my finger almost normally.

no heat, 4 tips not 5

The heat tip is difficult to insert and there is no heat, so order the cheapr option without heat. The other tips work as described. If I had ordered the cheaper standard version, I would have given it a 4 because the instructions and box say it has 5 tips, but it has 4 tips. Not a big deal but incorrect.

Great quality

Like many other reviewers, my physiotherapist used this exact device. I cut both flexor tendons in my pinky and have been using this massager to keep everything loose and break up scar tissue after surgery. It has helped a lot to relieve pain and stiffness allowing me to stretch and regain movement with less pain. I would have paid much more for this, so at this price I consider it a no-brainer to buy this if you have a similar injury. One physio session cost me $75, for $30 I'm getting the exact same massage 3x a day. Best of luck to anybody going through something similar, keep your head up.

Works well but drains battery fast

When this little massager is working it's great for targeting those muscles that are tense or sore in my neck and shoulders. BUT... it does drain the battery fast and let's be honest...C batteries are not widely used anymore. Unfortunately all my battery chargers are for AA or AAA. So hopefully someone will make one that you can either plug in or use AA batteries in.

It works great but feels like it hasn't been updated since the 90s

I'm shocked this still uses a gigantic battery, but it some ways that's great because internal batteries eventually lose their charge. The colour and shape and writing all look old-school, but this point massager really does it's job and the tips are great. I wish there was an included case to hold them or some way to store the tips, but that's the only knock on it.

I received this item yesterday, and it does not work. And, I can't return it. I'm not sure why.

I was going to use this for my work with a patient. It is cheap material, and it simply does not turn on. And I can't return it for some reason, even though it was not used, because it can't be. So, I have lost my money, and I must find another similar item to purchase. Bad deal. P.S. Amazon did refund my money, after all, which is the right thing to do.

Disappointing

Was dead on arrival. Battery tested fine at 1.57 volts and I was sure to remove the plastic battery terminal cover from within the unit. However, it would not function when switch was activated. Build quality seemed cheap and flimsy. Fortunately, Amazon provide a full refund.
