Did I really need one?

Mine did not have any leaking problems, but it would not connect directly to a garden hose. I had to go out and buy an adaptor ($3) to make it work. And yes, I think it is the type of on/off valve, but it just does not do the job. Water will continue coming out (almost at full force) for about 20 seconds (or more) after you turn it off. I like the looks of it though. Construction / quality looks like it should last a few years out in the sun.

Serves somewhat of the purpose but the on off does not shut off well, takes time and it finally stops. Would not purchase again.

Poor construction

Purchased as a Christmas gift but did not assemble until the weather warmed up in April. The hose fitting leaked a lot. We tried to make adaptations to it but would not retain the hose. The receptacle that holds the water leaks. It was advertised to heat the water between uses but water leaks out. Since we did not assemble it until April, we are beyond the return window so cannot return. Too bad, the concept is good, just poor construction.

Saves the inside shower

Very good once we figured out why it was leaking! We put a turn off switch on the shower otherwise it won't shut off. It saves guests from having to use the shower in the house .

Does not work,Do not buy

The valve to shut off the shower head is a piece of junk,does not shut off which is extremely important with this unit because the water must first collect in base so it can be heated by the sun,Even after hours of reading directions,assembling and disassembling we just get cold hose water coming straight out of the shower head,valve remains useless so shutting off the hose is the only way off stopping it.Looks like Im stuck with an overpriced cold water shower.This kind of thing seems to happen to me evry single summer,most of the products I order to use with me intex pool as well as other things I think will make the summer more enjoyable for me and my family turn out to be useless pieces of junk that Ive spent an emberrassing amount of money on.Its not like I blindly order these products either,I spend hours researching the choices I eventually make but almost always theres problems.

Does not work and when it was delivered to my house it was half put together....so it was a return.what a piece of junk. I will never buy from them again!!!
