Good switch but not easy to mount.
I like the construction of this switch. Seems sturdy and has very good control action of the buttons. Mounting the switch into a suitable electrical box can be a challenge. I used a 4 inch square plastic weatherproof deep box, with a blank cover that I managed to accurately cut for the switch mounting. I found also that the switch does not indicate when it is in the on position, so I added a 120 volt LED to the box to let me know when the power is live. This is important to me because it controls an air compressor that needs to be shut down when not in use.

Excellent replacement for my Grizzly G0833P Table Saw.
Super easy. Switch assembly part number is a direct match to the OEM one. Hardware fitted to the tablesaw worked fine with the new switch. Only had to carefully change the switch mounting brace. Easy. 2 screws. Don't let it fall apart and boom! Bob's your uncle and your done!! Hope o never need another, but if I did, I would buy this again.

Good switch, Packaged Poorly
Purchased this switch to replace a failed one on a Delta dust collector. When the first one arrived 3 of the 4 ears around the terminal connections were broken off. It didn't affect the operation of the switch, but I sent it back anyway and ordered another one. When I got it one ear was broken off. I went ahead and installed it and it functions fine. The packaging that the switch came in is a paper envelope with the plastic bagged switch inside. The switch is not protected from handling mishaps during transport and shipping. Seems to be a good switch, just packaged poorly.

not what I would use if I had to make that choice again
usually, this company produces good products but the switch is definitely not one of them the buttons never snap back to their original position when you press the start or the start button They always get hung up making them unsafe they become very sensitive when they get stuck in the weird positions that they do but since it is attached to my table saw now and don't have the ability to return it I'll use it until it bothers me enough that I will swap it out And it definitely won't be with this product no I would not buy it again And no I would not recommend this

NO INSTRUCTIONS
The lack of instructions had me trip the breaker several times. I had to actually disassemble the switch to figure out how to wire it. I am not an electrician, but I am pretty familiar with circuits. What I forgot going into this was this is a double pole, single throw (DPST) switch. Most switches (your bedroom light switch, for example) are single pole, single throw, involving only one leg of the two wire circuit. Why this is important is that there are four connection points instead of the usual two, and that is where I went wrong. I assumed (which we should never do) that the circuits would run from right to left. I assumed that because there were tiny little words imprinted on either side, LOAD and LINE. So I connected the incoming (from the plug) to LINE and the wires to the junction box where I was going to plug in my router and dust collector to LOAD. The microsecond that I tried the switch, my breaker tripped. I assumed the LOAD (my 2hp router and 5hp shop vac) were too much for the circuit so I reset the breaker, unplugged the vac, and tried again. Instant trip. I unplugged the router and plugged in an LED test light. Virtually no load. Hit the switch, instant trip of the breaker again. Now I assumed the switch had a defect so I proceeded to take it apart. Happily, it was held together with four screws, and came apart readily. Immediately, I saw the problem. The switch actuated a double-poled rocker that connected two sets of contact points. Unfortunately, I had wired the switch across the points so rather than continuing the current when I actuated the switch, I was actually bringing the two sets of wires into contact with each other, creating an instant short. Putting the switch back together was a fiddly mess because of four ball bearings on which the rockers rode, and which were apparently enjoying their new-found freedom and did not want to return to the rockerswitch drudgery. Anyway, I got it put back together, and it works wonderfully. The little schematic drawing packaged with the switch did not illuminate the correct installation procedure, the way that a tersely worded note "Connect the hot and common of the incoming circuit to the bottom of the switch and the outgoing corresponding wires to the top of the switch" would have.

voltage and horsepower
well made switch, The big table saw in our shop quit. We ordered a new switch, and it arrived quickly. We wired it into the saw. 4 wires, two line and two load. Back in business. Thank you !

Fits my need
Bought to replace switch on my drilling/milling (pdm-30), looks a little cheap, will have to see how long it last. But very affordable and wiring diagram for installation is easy to understand. Delivery was on time and item showed up as shown in advertissement.

Would buy again
I gave it 3 stars for easy to install because I had to drill the mounting holes for the screws out a small bit to make it fit properly in the box I bought for it. Other than that installation was straight forward and routine. I used it as a replacement switch for the broken one on my radial arm saw and it functions very well, I am well pleased with it and would buy it again even with the issue of having to drill the holes out a touch.
