PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Maintain home security and replace old or broken window locks with this window sash lock. This sash lock has 2-1/4” mounting hole centers with a 3/8” latch projection that engages into the fixed rail of the top sash, without the use of a separate keeper. It is made of diecast zinc with a painted black finish. It’s strong, durable and made to last. Installation is quick and easy and the sash lock can be used on vertical, single and double hung aluminum sliding windows. These locks will also fit some horizontal, aluminum-framed sliding windows. FROM THE MANUFACTURER This sash lock is constructed from die cast and comes finished in black. This lock does not use a separate keeper; instead the latch engages your fixed rail to lock the window. Used on vertical and horizontal sliding windows.
