Quite satisfied but don't look for any extras here!
No country of origin on box. China as all else now days. Springs seem to have the tension required (160lb) as the door balances perfectly with all four springs installed new. The spring safety retainer cable does not come with wire rope cable clamps. Ok for me but be advised that you will have to purchase separately. The cable is Chinese made 1/8 in 7 x 7 rope (steel wire rope). I happened to use the new safety cables to replace my 40 year old lift cables as I already had in place safety cables that I had installed previously. In my case I found many other worn out parts including worn out 3in sheaves and several rollers. While waiting for your springs to arrive it is a good idea to see what else is deficient or worn out. My 320 lb sectional door now glides through its' motions almost noiselessly and my 3/4 HP Chamberlain opener will last a lot longer with no strain on it. Most companies say tha the springs are good for 10,000 cycles or more. If that is true with these (and only time will tell) I should be good for 6.83 years ! Not bad for $49 including shipping for the springs and cable, $9.25 locally for 2 pulleys and about 2 hours of effort taking my time about it. The most difficult part and perhaps the most dangerous was getting the 320 lb door fully raised to install the springs. Even that was just a matter of caution and the use of 2 floor jacks and a few varied lengths of 2x 4's to raise the one side that broke 2 springs. I gave 4 stars only because there was no documentation of any kind, no indication of country of origin (except wire rope was marked made in china). By the way the cheapest I could find locally for the 4 springs was $29 each, and they were imported also. I had the luxury of time to wait for the delivery from Amazon and even then they showed up much earlier than free shipping (non-prime) was supposed to. Maybe due to the extra crews the shipping companies have put on for the Holidays. Ron

Springs are great & Easy to install. Just make sure you have the correct weight and that both springs match.
Works great. Relatively easy to install. 3 things to remember: 1) follow directions (especially in regards to the safety cable). 2) Be careful and most importantly 3) Use the same size spring. If you are unsure, replace both. I bought these after I hired Sears to come out for a tune-up of my garage door because it wobbled and didn't close properly every time. Turned out, between my 2 doors, I had 4 different weight springs. Apparently the previous owner just used what he could get cheap or free.
