Fits into my kitchen

I wasn't sure that I would be able to just leave this on the kitchen counter. I thought I might have to stow it, and that would mean I would probably use it less. I cleared out all of the little knickknacks that were accumulating in the corner of the counter, and the crepe maker fits well in their place. When not in use, I covered it a 13" woven place-mat ($3.00), and put a paper towel holder on top of it. I've only used it twice, so I can't comment on its durability. Generally, I am hopeless at making crepes, but I made buckwheat crepes with this crepe maker, and that worked out well. I'm still learning how to spread the batter correctly. So far, the crepes I've made seem to be cooking a little more slowly in the middle -- but that is probably because I'm not spreading the batter evenly, and mine have been thinner on the edges. I put the thermostat on a little lower than 4, and used the lights to help me know when to flip the crepes. It's like a hot plate, so I guess you could cook a lot of different things on it. It has a tiny edge to it to keep the crepe batter from going over the side. It's 13" in diameter, so you can make a large or a small crepe on it. I also used the crepe maker to cook some sliced apples for the crepes. I'm not sure if I'm going to cook onions or garlic on it, lest the flavors linger and make it impossible to make sweet crepes -- but I think that onions or garlic would probably be OK. It is easy to clean. The directions say to wash it with soap then wipe it with a wet towel, but I didn't want to risk getting soap or soap-flavor into my food. I've just used a wet paper towel and wiped it down until the paper towel no longer wipes off residue. It is VERY non-stick. You don't need to use a lot of oil or butter to grease the pan. The design seems to be pretty good. If you are careful, the crepe maker can be moved even while it's hot. Just remember to unplug it. You can turn the heat way down, but you have to unplug it to make it turn completely off.

It works but needs improvement.

It does make great crepes. However, I bought my item new but when it arrived it looked like it was used and repackaged. As for the machine, it is a lot larger than I thought it would be, and it does not have an on/off Switch. Finally, if the batter goes a little over the surface, it gets stuck under the rim dial. It was Not fun cleaning it up. Overall, I feel like I can find a better crepe maker or use a thin pan.

Es una increíble crepera, mi primer vez utilizándola pensé que no iba a servir para esto, pero es cuestión de que la masa para las crepes tengan la consistencia adecuada, no me gusta en cuestión de la limpieza cuando se derrama la masa, ya que soy limpiadora compulsiva, así que tengo que esperar a que se enfríe la crepera para poder limpiarla con una franela humedecida con jabón, posteriormente otra franela húmeda y luego un paño seco. Pero en sí la crepera es maravillosa.

Works great

I love this machine except that after pouring the batter on the hot plate the temperature drops too much and it seems to have trouble keeping up. I work around it but that small snag could be worked out by the manufacturer

after two month of using...

You must buy it if you want to copy a Chinese recipe called "Tian Jin Jian Bing". To make it easier to operate, the cooker is 1'' bigger than other Crepe makers. I used a heat level of 5-6 when cooking it, a green light indicates the temperature is reached. All tools are useful, now, making a "Tian Jin Jian Bing" for everyone in the family is much easier compared to using a frying pan.

Could not be more impressed!

I purchased this as a Father’s Day gift for my husband last year, and it’s received near weekly use ever since. The tools that come with it are perfect for batter spreading and crepe flipping, and the end products are delightful. We had previously tried multiple stovetop options with mixed results, and love how evenly this unit cooks, and how easy it is to clean. It really is a ridiculously low price for the value we’ve found in it. Highly recommend!

First of all, do't get me wrong, it's a good product, easy to clean, heat up quickly. I wish the edge can be a little taller, so won't be that easy to spill. The surface is larger than most of others, this is the main reason I chose this one over others.

The BEST crepe maker!!!

Amazing!!! Easy to use, easy to clean and super easy to store. Since getting this, my kids absolutely love crepes! We bought it just to try out, and now "crepe day" is a weekly event! It's so easy to use and make crepes, and it's a nice big size. Cleaning is as easy as wiping it with a wet cloth or wet paper towel, and poof put it away for another week. Highly recommended, this is a perfect product!
