The PUR PLUS 11 Cup Water Filtration Pitcher offers refreshing water quickly and easily. This water filter pitcher features an easy-fill, stay-tight lid and a slim, space-saving design that fits in most refrigerator doors. The Filter Change Light indicates filter status and when it needs to be changed. Plus, the stay-tight locking lid allows you to pour while water is filtering and prevents spills. A water filtration system is important because while home tap water may look clean, lead and other contaminants can get into your water through leaching lead service lines or from lead contained in household plumbing. This PUR PLUS water filter pitcher is WQA certified to reduce lead and other harmful contaminants that could be lurking in your drinking water. PUR PLUS filter PPF951K is certified to reduce 3X more contaminants than Brita’s leading filter. Compatible water filter replacements are not certified to offer the same water quality – genuine PUR Filters are the only filters certified for use in PUR systems. Using a PUR water filter system can save up to $1,000 per year on average compared with the cost of bottled water and help keep plastic bottle waste out of landfills. Each replacement water filter provides 40 gallons of filtered water or up to 2 months of typical use. PUR is the #1 selling brand among certified lead reducing filters. PUR has been developing innovative technologies for superior water filtration for over 30 years. We believe life deserves PUR water. Takes A Long Time To Drip, But Worth The Wait! ????
It DOES take a long time to drip from the top water area to through the filter, but it's worth the wait!!! The water tastes so good & fresh! I can't believe the difference from my faucet to this filtered water. Everything tastes better. It protects way more than Brita! So to me it's worth the wait, especially to get out contaminants like Lead from the water, which Brita does not do! The way we use this pitcher is; every time we use it, we add water to it immediately so the next time we need fresh clean water, it's ready to use. I'm glad I didn't get the big one, because it would have been too heavy to lift, this size is perfect for us. We use it for everything now! Cooking, filling the Keurig resviour, making ice cubes, making tea/juice/lemonade & filling the dog's water bowl. Everything tastes so much better too. I did time it, to see how long it takes to drip, it's about 10 minutes, each fill time. It takes 3 seprate refill times for it to drip till it's completely full. As long as you fill it each time you use it, you'll never go without, simple solution. It's worth waiting to take out all the harmul stuff in the water. I recomend this if you're persistent, don't mind waiting the first time you use it, & if you have 2 adults living in the house. You can get a bigger pitcher if you have more than 3+ people living in the house. It's definitely worth it to me. But it's up to you wether you want to get their faucet attachment instead for instant water or if you'd rather pay for water in plastic bottles. ???? ????????‍♀️

Cheaper than I expected! Be very careful with your lid.
I love this filtered pitcher! I moved to a new apartment and noticed the water tasted different and there was a residue on my glass any time I drank a glass of water. This has definitely helped and was less commitment than adding a filter to my sink. However, the sensor on the lid broke off really easily. I ended up gluing it, but I don't know how long it will work. If I could do it again I'd be more careful with that little sensor square so heed my advice!

I mostly love this pitcher, but the spout is terrible.
I like the fact that you can see the water level in the upper reservoir without opening the lid. It has a large capacity which is also good. I think the water is better than with other filters. However - the pour spout is terrible. It doesn't open on it's own and water comes out in a wide waterfall. You have to manually open the spout to get a narrow pour. Definitely not a deal breaker but annoying. I'd still buy it again.

Make sure the top is seated tightly into the pitcher. Otherwise the pour is wide and will spill.
Many people have complained about the water pouring very wide out the front. My pitcher did the same thing when I first used it. The pitcher requires a very tight and precise fit between the top and bottom sections. On mine, after taking the top off and reinserting a few times, I was able to get the top to seat better into the lower section. Now it pours just fine, like my 7 cup pitcher. There might be some pitchers that never work correctly if the sizing is too far off. As for speed, it takes about 20 minutes to filter 32 ounces with the pitcher empty. It takes longer with a higher water level due to the reduced height differential between the two sections.

It works fine, but is a bit too large/bulky at 11 cups
I had a Pur pitcher for years and the handle finally broke off. It was the perfect size and fit in my fridge. This 11 cup one is bigger, and the 7-cup is smaller, so I guess they don't make the in-between size any longer. Too bad, because the 11 cup is unweildly. The lead reducing filters make great water, but they only last maybe 3 weeks and then clog up to become useless. It's pretty expensive to replace, at about $10/filter, every 3 weeks. That's with 2 people using it. I use the water for cooking, my pet's water, to make coffee/tea and for drinking. I wish they made a size between the too-small 7 cup and the too-big 11 cup. Then it would be Just Right!

This pitcher is much harder to pour from than my old one.
I like everything about the Pur water pitcher except the new design. My old one was easier to pour. Wish you would return to the old design. Other than that, I love it!!

Bit unwieldy and leaky
I thought the bigger pitcher wouldn't be much of a problem after using the size one step smaller for years. But, alas, my arms are made of soggy breadsticks and so when this boi is full, it's heckin' HEFTY. This wouldn't be much of an issue if the lid were a little better at sealing water in, but as it is right now, the limp noodles that I have in the place of arms are comically wobbly as I transport this big boi from the sink to the fridge. I think it could use a gasket and/or a clamp to keep the water in a bit better
