Good value but high end is blah

They are okay speakers. Much better than the factory but not amazing themselves. I hesitated to get them due to the high end spec of 18khz and yes I can tell they don’t have clarity at the high end. I may add some tweeters…. I would guess the other 6.5s (20khz) from Pyle would sound better at the cost of increased size. I paired 4 of these with the Pyle 10in sub (which itself sounds great under the pontoon bench!)

Good speakers and better than buying a whole new system

Install was somewhat easy, had to redirect the led lights to boat lights so they won’t be on all the time which was a bit of a challenge at first. Other than having to also cut the hole bigger than the original speaker even tho the original speakers measured the same sound quality is good.

Crappy tech support

The speakers were put on my poontoon boat. Pyleusa.com is a joke if you have need of technical support your force to spend 5 dollars on a tech membership before they will answer your question. On that alone I wont buy anything from Pyle

LED lights run battery down

We cannot turn in the LED lights because it runs our boat battery down, even when the boat is not on. We had to disconnect the lights. Would not purchase with LED lights again

Screw hole circle is pretty big, be careful.

Make sure the screw holes will fit your application!! I got these for a Jeep speaker pod under dash and they were just too big. I had to get 5.25”.
