New inexpensive replacement part delivered promptly

Actually just used the pop-up sprinkler head and cover cap to replace a totally worn-out 30-yr old Rain Bird (RB) head. Nice that KW Beta makes these professional RB parts available on Amazon and it is nice that RB still makes a fully compatible part. Just screwed on the assembly without having to did up and replace the lower housing.

Examine carefully ...

Ordered 3....two were fine but one missing mesh screen inside causing water to dribble out of nozzle head instead of spray....had an extra so inserted and worked fine ....

Just what I needed to lower the overall head height

So far (about 3 months of service) this sprinkler is working well and is lower so they don't get kicked and knock off the burried line. Works well and suited my needs.

Works well but be careful what Nozzle you get

This is a pretty standard popup sprinker. Works well. Easy to change the nozzle. Very durable. But you need to be careful of the type of nozzle you use. I use rotary nozzles made by Rainbird. It fits the lower end rotary nozzles that fire up to 10ft but the 15ft rotary nozzles don't fit unless you take out the filter entirely. C'mon rainbird, make all these interchangeable!

Riser Longevity is an Issue

This is a quality sprinkler. However, there is one annoying problem. The riser tends to get stuck after a couple summers in very hot climate. It appears that the riser plastic softens a little in the heat then expands a bit when the water pressure hits it over time. This causes it to either stick in the up position or not pop up at all. I live where it regularly gets over 110 degrees in the summer so this may not be an issue in areas where it doesn't get so hot.

Almost what I wanted

The spray radius was a bit less powerful than I expected, but still a solid sprinkler due to the brand. I had to order a more powerful bigger sprinkler head and move this one to a different place in my yard where less spray was needed.
