Runs a 10 CU Ft fridge easily
Try to find a straight answer on what size inverter to use for a residential fridge in your RV. I get tired thinking about it. I bought the 1000 watt inverter and a 100 amp hour lifepo4 battery. The 10 cu. ft fridge lists itself as 145 Watts, 2.5 running amps, and 6amps start up. The inverter never broke a sweat. If the fans turned on, I couldn't hear them. I ran the fridge for 24 hours without charging the battery. Opened and closed door to simulate normal use. It depleted the battery to 45% in that time. My set up will be on a dedicated line and a smaller (7.5 cu ft) fridge but there is ample room to run an apartment size fridge and some other low amp appliances.

Running Great
I have this inverter built into my "emergency" backup battery bank. As a test I have been running my garage freezer (7.2 cu ft) since November of last year with my setup. Heart of the setup is the inverter which has continuously run the freezer for the last 7 months with no issues. The inverter fans only come on occasionally so far, we'll see how they do this summer in South Carolina. Love this product.

great product, too much fan noise for me though
My only complaint was the fan came on about every 10 minutes, for a little bit, with only 150 watt demand on it. I had it about 3 feet from my recliner, running our Dish Net, and a large screen LED TV, so the fan should have never came on. Oversized I know, but I wanted the large 2000 watt, for future use of a microwave during a power outage, and did not think the fan should come on that often with such limited demand on it, I think it was just a defective unit, and returned it. I replaced it with a Xantrex Pro Watt 2000, and the fan never comes on at all.

Amazingly quiet
I've tried many inverters, and the number one gripe I have is that the designers don't think about noise. Who wants to listen to a turbine jet engine cooling fan while using off-grid power?? I found this Renogy 700W inverter and it is incredibly quiet. When the fans go on full speed, you might notice it but it's nothing like other inverters and their super loud tiny high-speed cheap fans. My cat is very sensitive to machine noises, and while sitting next to this thing it turned on and she didn't even care. Renogy did this right. They found a good cooling system while using very quiet fans. I wish more manufacturers would think about quiet cooling designs.

Great inverter
I used this as part of a small solar system for my shed. The inverter came with nice cables and was well made. I tested the outputs with a meter and they were spot on with clean power. I have an electronics background and would not hesitate to buy this again. The price point was excellent when I bought it.

Inexpensive but not cheap
2000w psw inverter. Delivered on time in good condition. My shunt report shows only 60-150w for my tv rated at 140w so efficiency is on par. Install was standard. Plastic protectors over DC posts are nice. Remote is convenient. The only changes I would make is the quality of cables provided is okay but not great. Does the job but you really want 00-0000 (2/0-4/0) awg for DC loads this size but they send a pair of 4awg crimped together per pole.I would like to use my own remote functionality via intelligent relay but this will require testing out the pins and making my own rj11 connection. Also worth noting that loads this small I can’t even hear the inverter running

Inverter that works
Most inverters use a 2 hot leg 55 VAC/55 VAC 180 degrees out of phase to yield 110 VAC across the output. Be aware that all AC devices for use in North America are designed for Line (120 VAC)/Neutral (0 VAC)/Chassis Ground (earth). This inverter output FOLLOWS this North America standard. However, some appliances with electronic controls MAY require a “3-Prong to 2-Prong Grounding Adapter Plug” to prevent the built-in GFCI from false tripping. This is due to a unfortunate design practice of connecting together earth ground and electronic ground inside some appliances.

Beefy... Not much heat. Solid lug mounts and terminals.
Installed this in my RV being fed with 10ft 1 AWG wires (bought separately) . Handles 1200watt loads w/o any issue with minimal heat. Electronics all work fine as well. Good mounts for the lugs. No interference hum sounds from stereo as with previous inverters I had. Only feature I wished it has was a 12 volt on terminal to connect a relay for a mains disconnect but a transfer switch accomplishes the same thing at a slight expense. So far have Renogy inverter, charge controller, and solar panels. I think all their products are of decent quality.

Works great, Probably best inverter on AMazon for price,
So many Inverters out there and I've bought the junky ones as well. I blew of 2 other ones already so I tried this one. I believe for the price this one offers some quality parts for the price. I use it in the RV, runs hair dryer(1875watt) microwave and anything for 110v plug. I tried running my ac which will run on 110v however the surge kicks out the inverter. It wasn't a deal breaker and Ive had 6000watt Inverters(CLAIMED) that wouldnt run it either. I guess a home breaker must allow quite a lot of surge power since it will run on a home 15 amp.. But haven't found any inverters that will run it. Its quiet and has long remote cord, It also trips and easily resets. < cheap ones just fry,,, It's nice to have our RV have everything without a generator. Just solar, never need to plug in unless you need AC Hope it lasts!! But I think for the price its the best one on AMAZON right now.

Solid inverter you can rely on.
Let's be clear; there are multiple cheaper, poorly made and unreliable alternatives to this Renogy. This was installed on a sailboat, and provides our only 110V current when we're offshore. I needed something reliable and trustworthy. Expensive? Definitely. Well-made, with good components, excellent fit and finish, and the ability to power my toaster and coffee maker, and the TV at night, and whatever else needs to run off 110V when we're away from the marina. Easy installation, although beware; the included battery cables are (of excellent quality) short at about 3 feet. I had to buy and make longer ones.
