Work great provide a nice little charcoal taste.
I gave these a shot because I can’t seem to find pellets that create a wood flavor when I’m using my pellet grill. These pallets burn very well, and they actually give off a nice little charcoal taste..

Charcoal pellets
How much a hard burn hot last long and give off a nice aroma. The good to mix or supplement with your regular wood pellets. I like them and they work well enough to buy again.

i really liked the smoke flavor these gave my ribs.

Work great
I used in green mountain grill, created more smoke than I was expecting which I was happy about. Gave the meat a great grill flavor without the overwhelming smoke flavor .

Efficient
I mix them with my favorite pellets at a 1 to 1 ratio. They are very good at holding heat and cutting back on pellet use. Using them alone unfortunately does not give you that charcoal BBQ flavor that is a unique flavor only gotten with open coals and high air flow.i will buy them again as they increase pellet efficiency 3x over

Perfect for heat
These are great for getting your pellet grill or smoker up to temp. I found that hey burn hotter than the traditional wood pellets. I don’t taste the “charcoal” flavor and found they produce very little smoke at low temps. So I just use these mixed in with my favorite wood pellets and it’s a good mix of temperature and flavor.

They are a little long or hard
So far I haven't slow cooked with them, but the flavor isn't very notable. The thing I noticed is that my auger has a hard time with them, because they are long and hard compared to wood pellets and it sounds like the auger is straining at times to feed these. I will either have to crush these a bit prior to using, but will likely also try blending them. Not yet huge fan.
