I was out on the trail with friends and we needed this to take down the center of a rutted trail. After three plunges into MO ground with this the tip of the blade bent. I straightened the blade back out and plunged it into the ground once more. After the last plunge, I noticed the washer that locks the blade into position was bent. I was not pleasedanf will be buying the Gerber.
