Add this Wireless Chime Receiver to any STI wireless chime and you will never miss a house guest or delivery again. This add-on receiver works with STI wireless doorbell chime products to provide alerts in additional rooms. Receiver plugs into any indoor standard 120 vac electrical outlet and plays chimes when a transmitter is activated. Multiple receivers can be placed in multiple rooms up to 500 feet from the transmitter. Receiver can play up to 10 sounds depending on which transmitter is used. Volume adjustment: low and high. Great Concept to Extend Door Chime

I love this idea of extending the door chime to different locations in the house. This was a second receiver for an existing unit. It took a little while to get it to sync and I depended on the users reviews. The included instructions are not helpful in this regard. Basically, all you need to do is push the sync button and ring the bell a couple of times. It will sync automatically after that. It's loud and definitely does its job.

This is only the bell not the switch sensor.

I ate this one as I did not read to see it did not include any switch to operate it.

Doorbell Extender

It's a great product (extender) and very easy to install/pair to your existing chime. However, I have a Nest doorbell camera and somehow it is causing a conflict, because the doorbell would ring even when none one is at the door. Again, if you just have a regular door bell (no camera), using this extender it will help to hear in the bedroom etc. when someone is at the door. Just plug the extender in any outlet. Good luck

Worked great

This is a great product for the application. The down side is that you have to read the instructions and they are very, very small. No quick start. Just the instructions that are the size of the ones that are inside meds and tell of the all the side effects. Seriously? If you cant hear the bell any longer how can you read exttremely small print?.... Once I got a magnifying glass and was able to read the instructions it worked great!

Great product

Junk, Didnt work from 40 feet away.

I bought this and could not figure out how to change the chime tone. The instructions were generic and for multiple models of this unit. Volume was too low even on the loudest setting. Advertised as working from 1200+ feet away but couldn't reach a 40 foot distance through a floor and a layer of drywall. Returned it.

Great extender, one little flaw

Love the product; can now hear the doorbell from upstairs in second location. Only down side is that button has to be pressed at least 3/4ths of a second or so, longer than it takes for the chimes of the original doorbell, so on occasion when a visitor presses the doorbell the main doorbell will ring but neither of the receivers will ring because the visitor was too quick on the bell.
