Replacement mortise
Great replacement lock assembly. Old tenant was drunk and lost his keys which required a locksmith to drill out the old cylinder the the old mortise box, causing the box to be unreliable and made the deadbolt unusable. This drop in replacement was fairly easy. The old door plate for the mortise box had to be transplanted to the new mortise due to the geometries of the door itself. Required the old plate to still be files to allow deadbolt and latch to freely slide. Also found I had to open the new mortise to file the deadbolt mechanism slightly to allow the keys to fully engage the deadbolt in a locked position AND allow the key to fully retire for removal. For the cost, this extra work was worth it.

Good fit
This one had a slightly bigger mortise so had to chisel out the pocket for it to fit. And the plates were more narrow than the original on my door. All in all it looks ok, very bright, but works. Only thing was the outer knob kept unscrewing since the rod is two pieces so had to tighten the inner knob to keep that from happening. This caused the outer knob to be a little tight and doesn't always go back to rest position.

Great and terrible.
We’ve had this lock installed for 2 days, and it seems to be working well. The bolt action is smooth, it feels secure, and it looks great. The problems: (1) the installation instructions are pretty terrible. Important steps were poorly explained and there’s only one diagram that does not completely show the entire apparatus. (2) I ordered a right hand lock and they sent one with a left handed latch. Because I had ordered and confirmed what I purchased, I didn’t realize the problem until after the lock was installed, meaning I had to completely uninstall it to change the orientation. (3) when I went to change it from a left- handed to right-handed orientation, I found the instructions for this process to be absolutely abysmally awful. The pictures were dark and at terrible angles. No worries, though, because they directed you to a website with further instructions. Oh wait, nope, this lock isn’t on their website. I figured it out, but it was an arduous process that involved opening the mortise, making a change, installing the lock, testing it, and uninstalling it to make another change at least 3 times. I never could get the rocker switch to work properly no matter which cam I had engaged, so I had to just disable it entirely so we could use the door. If you do not already have experience installing mortise locks, the instructions for this one will make you angry. Guaranteed. Prepare yourself now so you don’t get in an argument with your helper.

Damaged, difficult to install.
The unit arrived damaged, but I had to replace the other lock immediately, so I couldn't return it. This particular brand was more difficult to install than the others I've used in the past.

Beautiful and easy to assemble...
I have a door that is over a 140 yrs old and this replaced the old lock and knob with minimal adjustments required... It looks great and since my door is thicker then modern doors this lock was perfect...
