Senco 1 gallon finish & trim air compressor is designed with the professional contractor in mind: compact, lightweight hand carry, sturdy, powerful, oil-free, 102 second pump up time, 27 second recovery time, low maintenance and warrantied. Our compressor truly makes hard work easier. The PC1010N is lightweight at just 21 lbs. (9.53 kg), and its compact design measuring 14x13x10 ensures easy portability to any jobsite. The gauges on our control panel are easy to read and the integrated control panel is designed for easy access and straightforward operation. In addition, the PC1010N features an ultra-quiet 68 dBA noise level of operation – A standard Garbage Disposal is louder – and a rugged, rust-resistant, aluminum design. Every contractor and DIY enthusiast will agree this is an ideal “finish and D6 trim unit” for finish trim nailer, pin nailer and more – especially since its ¼” coupler is a universal design. That makes it compatible with a variety of air tools from all of the top manufacturers. The long life induction motor and oil free pump eliminate the need for oil and regular maintenance. Its direct drive pump/motor offer efficient operation. There are numerous safety features included in the design of the PC1010N. For example, the motor/pressure switch has a pressure release valve that automatically releases compressed air from the air compressor pump head and its discharge line when the air compressor reaches cut-out pressure or is shut off - allowing the motor to restart freely. Also, the motor has a protective Breaker on the pump which trips if there is an excessive Amperage draw - protecting both the operator and the motor itself. The air intake filter doesn't need to be replaced; It is reusable and should always be clean with its ventilation opening free from obstructions. It can be cleaned by using warm, soapy water and then rinsed and set out to air dry. Further, there is a safety relief valve designed to prevent system failures by relieving pressure from the system when the compressed air reaches a predetermined level. Having been preset by the manufacturer, it should not be modified in any way. Additionally, the air tank drain valve is used to remove moisture from the air tank after the compressor is shut off. Never attempt to open the drain valve when more than 10 PSI of air pressure is in the tank. To open the drain valve, turn the knob counterclockwise then tilt the tank to ensure that all condensation drains through the valve. Additional features can be seen in detail in the user manual, included in the packaging. The power cord included with this unit is 6 feet long. If additional length/distance is needed, Senco recommends using one of our 50’ or 100’ proFlex or push on ¼” air hoses – available on Amazon – instead of an extension cord. If use of an extension cord is unavoidable, it should be plugged into a GFCI found in circuit boxes or protected receptacles. If use of an extension cord is unavoidable, refer to our operating manual and observe the recommended cable Length and wire Gauge listed. Additionally, use only 3-blade extension cords that have 3-blade grounding-type plugs and 3-slot cord connectors that will accept the plug from the PC1010N. Use only extension cords having an electrical rating not less than the rating of the product.

Good quality unit.
Unit worked good - was replacing a previous unit (over 20 yrs old). Fairly quiet, nice speed on the compression. Much nicer method to bleed any water that may accumulate in the compression tank.

Great unit for what it is designed for- finish nailing/work
I own two of these and haven't had any leakage or mechanical issues that I've seen mentioned. I find the the unit quiet and efficient. It isn't about high volume or super high tool pressures. I use them for finish work and in my home bike shop for inflating and seating tubeless bike tires. I expect them to work and perform as advertised, and they do. I took off one star because I believe the heat shielding could be a little better and the routing of the power cable seems a little strange. I find myself being mindful of it- and I don't think I should- if you know what I mean. But I do recommend and having two small units with shorter hoses is better for house work because two people can work in different areas with same room power and hose. Reduces the need for long, winding hoses throughout a structure. I used to replace/fix hoses all the time, but the two 1/4" 25' Flex hoses I use with these are 4 and 2 years respectively and I haven't had to change a fitting or replace one. Obviously what you are doing and how you choose to work will determine what is best for you, but for me these work as well as I could ask.

Awesome product and portability
On paper this blows away the competition. Lightweight, flexibility, reliability, etc. Keep looking though because there are better options out there. This is an excellent product but I ended up returning this one and purchasing a Husky 1 gallon hot dog compressor from Home Depot. Here is why. 1. 3 year warranty vs a 1 year warranty with the Senco 2. Husky was $129.00 vs the $135.00 for the Senco 3. at less than 59 db the Husky was quieter than the Senco which was 69 db 4. The Husky came was a portable detachable tool bag that can be used to keep hoses, nozzles, goggles etc 5. Husky comes with a protective cage that protects the entire unit 6. Husky comes with an integrated welded on power cable wrap and the Senco does not have one At just 21 pounds the Senco is lighter by a full 6 pounds

Fantastic buy
I bought this for my daughters new home. I fired this little guy up and was completely taken aback at how quite it is. I normally put these in the garage and run the hoses into the house because of the noise. Not this one. It is so quite I actually brought it into the house. I installed a new pocket door and entry door with all new casing, trim and baseboards. This did the job as well as my 60 gallon compressor. If you need a small quite compressor for trim work, cabinet work, this will do the job. Great handle, sturdy, easy to carry. Senco really outdid themselves with this one. I would recommend this many times over. I hope my daughter enjoys this after I'm done with it. I might have to keep this for myself and just get her another one!!!!

Quiet enough for indoor use; not disappointed
When I was going through a kitchen remodel I noticed the wood trim guy using a small air compressor inside the house. Intrigued I spoke with him about it. I have a small pancake compressor and it is loud, so loud I cover it with a box and towels to muffle the sound. And then use hoses. Or wear ear protection. Here this guy was using this compressor inside and it was a little louder than a washing machine. When the current compressor was in a slow death mode and I had finish carpentry to do, I bought the same model and got some of the newer style hoses as well. I was not disappointed. The cycle time seemed pretty quick, a perceived 1-2 minutes. Mated with a 25' hose and a Porter Cable brad nailer I was able to sink a couple dozen two inch brads into a 2x4 in fairly quick succession. Aside from that it has a compact design with the right stuff shielded and the right stuff exposed. Also has a longer cord than the old compressor. I'm happy with the purchase. First big home job is coming up. I'm banking on ditching the old compressor.

Can't say enough about this compressor
I have a large compressor for my garage, it's big, noisy, can power all kinds of tools, but in my basement shop, I need something quiet, that can work with a wide variety of small tools, and is easy to move around. So it is quite light, it's attractive (well, to me), when it runs, it has a pleasant chuffing sound, and it has sufficient capacity for electronics/woodworking/modeling uses. You can even use it to blow dust out of old electronics, although that will deplete the tank pretty quickly. Refill time is adequate, and with most tools not an issue. Use it within its design parameters and you'll love it.

If you're only doing small finish jobs, swap out your old pancake for a new hot dog.
Seems well designed and constructed, the only part I upgraded out of the box was the airline fitting, but the standard part should serve most people just fine. The size is great for finishing jobs, you won't have to think about whether you want to drag a compressor with you. Fill noise is low enough to have a normal conversation level with 6-8 ft of it running, cut out noise is tiny (and strangely satisfying).

Go Senco!
As a General Contractor I used the first generation Senco Trim compressor and it was a favorite, I can't imagine how many hours that little fellow worked but it earned it's keep and my respect, so when it became obvious it needed to be retired (still running strong but needs TLC), my first thought was "maybe Senco has a new version". The 2nd generation is superior to the 1st! It is more compact, has far better protection for the gauges, and though it may seem impossible is quieter than the original! For it's first project I fired up not on a job-site but in my living room to wrap up our kitchen renovation and neither my wife nor 6 yo daughter even flinched at the sound...it purrs...

Buena compresora
