Flea collar for dogs

My dogs have been wearing this collar a week and still have fleas. They are inside dogs and only outside for potty. I have not seen the fleas around their face so it must be working some.

This product is a pleasant-smelling flea deterrent.

It's rare anymore to find a flea deterrent product that smells nice, actually repels fleas, and doesn't melt if the dog wearing it gets a little wet. (One approach I did differently was to bathe the dogs in a certain national brand of blue dishwashing liquid commonly used on wildlife BEFORE I put on their collars.) I have a shepherd mix and a border collie, so that's two good-sized dogs and so far the collars work well.

Gave my dog a RASH!

Within a few days of putting this collar on my dog, she started shaking her head and scratching her neck. We thought it was her ears, so we treated them. Then we found a rash and sore spots on her neck. After we removed the collar, her neck cleared up and she stopped shaking her head. Won't buy this collar again!

Spray bottle of 50/50 flea dip and water worked better.

Used for fleas. Just useless in this rural area. I put the collar in the couch where she sleeps for added flea deterrent, just in case. A safe dip is findable. Just had to look...
