Great pump but not raccoon proof
Pump works great, everything we hoped for. However it attracted a raccoon to the fountain, and the raccoon removed it from the fountain and took it apart piece by piece. Put it back together, but the raccoon came back and just stole the whole thing. Six stars if you’re a raccoon. Otherwise just five stars.

Great little pump for my cats Drinkwell 360 fountain.
This is a great little water pump for the price, it fit just right though I didn't use it. I found a more similar one to the original that runs on 12V. There's just something about sticking a 120V device submerged in water, that did not sit right with me, kept thinking what if. I have no available GFCI outlet where fountain is placed, if you do,. then you're good to get this.

This is a pump
I wanted to give this 4.21874 stars, because when I needed to replace a pump, I selected this one at random. I am neither pleased nor disappointed. It does indeed pump water, so, that's what I got it for, but, still, it's a pump. I'm supposed to prefer one to another, but I only got this one and it works fine, so, yeah, this pump was the one, without really any research.

pumps enough for a small fountain - 2 feet lift
UPDATE (4/6/2019): The small plastic pieces can be used to connect small diameter tubing to the pump. The outlet of the pump has a removable plastic piece for attaching different sized tubing. It doesn't come out easily - and it shouldn't. A small hose clamp should be included / used to ensure the tubing stays attached to the adapter, whichever size is used. If possible, the largest diameter tubing should be used if this pump is to be used in a recirculating fountain. Hopefully this pump will last several years. INITIAL REVIEW (3/31/2019): As others said, the so-called adapters are for what purpose? If they are to allow smaller diameter tubing to be attached, then a short piece of tubing should be included to connect the pump outlet to the adapter. I have not tried this in my fountain yet, so I'll have to update my review later.

The pump is doing its job
The media could not be loaded. No problems with the pump whatsoever. I have a 16 inch line going up to the spout from the pump and it’s a constant flow. Good product

Works good
I bought it to replace a pump on my fountain that wasnt working well. Took off the old pump and connected this one and Voila! It worked. Pictures show the water flowing thru the fountain
