Depends on what you're hoping for...

I own a pair of Skechers go walk ultra evo, and found them to be one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned. But, I also realized that they were really meant more as slippers and light walking, not really heavy walking activity which is what I wanted. I bought these in hopes that I can have similar comfort, but more ruggedness to handle more outdoor walking. Nothing extreme, but I need for city and some light dirt / gravel trails. Upon first putting them on, the shoes are definitely a little stiffer, so not quite the comfort I was hoping for, but comfortable enough to be satisfied. But at the same time they also seem more rugged, so there may be some trade off. I'll probably need a couple weeks breaking them in and see how they feel overall. Also note that I bought the brown, and at first glance when I unboxed them these appeared to be more of a charcoal color. However, once you take them out in the sun, the color actually looks more brown like the pictures. Not really a negative to me, but I saw some complaints about the color.

These work much better on your feet

I had always heard you could possibly put these on your ears and some people even use them on their elbows. What I found out is that if you use them on your feet, you can actually keep the bottoms of your feet from hurting when you walk on sticks and stones and things of that nature. The only thing I will say is that after a while they do start to slip but... Just buy new ones

Not real step ins

The back of shoe folds when trying to put on without using hands or shoehorn. I tried slip in and step ins at stretchers store and the back is way more rigid and do not fold. I would return them but the quality, comfort and style make up for not being able to just step in Plus the step ins at Strechers are 120 to 180 and can’t be combined with buy one and get 50% off the second pair

Best shoes

I have two sons that walk every where and is so hard on shoes. With the Goodyear tire soles, the last pair lasted for almost a year. The inside of the shoe was a bit rough, but just added new inserts, as the soles were still good. They have different colors and styles which is great as I got two pair.

Totally awesome (you gotta read this)

This is the second pair of this shoe I have purchased. My first pair are all black and too formal to wear on the trails. So I purchased a second pair in brown and let me tell you these shoes with the "Good Year" sole and the advanced tracking makes this shoe the highest quality, best traction and most comfortable trail blazing shoes in the world. It's no wonder Scheters is rated #1 in all categories. I wouldn't feel as good as I do if Scheters wasn't always on the cutting edge of technology.

Great Shoes and very comfortable

Absolutely love these shoes. Very comfortable and easy on the feet. Great traction. I’ve used these shoes hiking and general walking and have no issues with sore feet. Size is true so order your exact size. You won’t be disappointed

Sturdy

The soles seems sturdy and of good quality but the slip on feature is not so smooth as advertised.

Comfortable and easy to put on

With two straps for the instep and the heel, putting the shoe on is quite easy. The fit was snug and comfortable. Cushion is good. Rubber squeaked a bit indoors when new. I had to wear thin socks when the shoes was new, but after a couple of days it was comfortable without socks.

Seems a strong well made shoe for casual wear and some water proofing, so good for summer wet conditions.
