Handy to have
These scissors are handy to have. They are sharp for cutting harness ties other than cutting phone line cables. They have stripping notches for 19 and 20 Guage wires. These are close to Klein tools version of these scissors and fit in the kit if needed. All in all these scissors serve their purpose for what they are and money spent. Not a bad price as well. Check these datacom scissors out if you can't afford the Kleins or knipex version. IMHO they work great.

Good for copper, not fiber.
The design is petty cool, but a good pair of Fluke D-Snips or other similar brand out performs any day in my opinion. If all you work with is copper these are great, but if you work with fiber and copper like I do in a datacenter it makes a lot more sense to own a pair of snips that doesn't struggle to cut through fiber and can handle copper.

Thumb lock
Good snips, but after a couple weeks the thumb lock loses a bit of its stiffness and will fall into locked position after the cut.

Its pretty strong feels pretty good
The media could not be loaded. It feels strong and sturdy cuts pretty easy on anything im an electrician so i use all the time and its holding up pretty good alot of people dont know how to use it so they complain about it and make the wrong comments but with a lil get use to it its something different so i give it a 9/10????

Great pair of scissors takes a little getting used too
They cut smooth and are great in the hand once you get used to them. Con- the lock on them could be improved and it’d be nice if they came with a belt holster.

I own 3 pairs for good reasons
My tech got a pair, I liked. I've since ordered 3 for multiple toolkits. Hands down the best heavy scissors I own. Cuts data cable like string, and almost comparable to Weiss the one time I used them to snip tin. *network/telco field technician, daily user*

Good design, BAD execution of it. Search Elsewhere.
Good idea, but badly executed. They are not sharp enough and need to apply too much force to cut with. The tip is to thick to cut with. The lower part with the hole hurts the finger as is to slim and uncomfortable. The edge go blunt easy and (I guess the steel not good enough) I've bought 4 pairs and all of them looked different (no consistency in the quality) I got lots of Southwire tools (testers mostly) and I love them, but the mechanical tools I advise to be avoided. I bought those to replace my 3 years old CK scissors and was very disappointed to discover that the heavily abused old scissors cut better than my new SW ones. I don't like the 2 hole design on the CKs but will go back to them and return the SW. Shame for the good design waisted. Will keep searching to find similar that actually works.

Sharp, fit well in pocket, use regularly for branding and cleaning up electrical panel cables.

I like the feel of the curved handle
I like the feel of the curved handle. I like the lock feature and the small form-factor. It seems sharp. I'd like to see a bigger finger loop large enough to fit the middle and ring finger. Let's see how durable this will be.

More power with less effort
Telecom technician of more than 30 years. These are the best snips I’ve owned. They’ve made it to a permanent spot on my tool belt.
