OK but needs sharp edges dealt with, and reel slot enlarged.
The product does hold a fishing rod. The price can't be too cheap due to low volume sales, I imagine. There is a clever clamping setup, although it slips a bit even when very tight. 1)the slot for the reel is not wide enough for any of my spinning reels, so the pole will not slide fully into the holder. 2) For the assembly, one picture showing where the flat bolt goes would go a long way to explaining how to assemble, and that would be cheap to provide. 3)There are SHARP edges. Now this is for folks in a wheelchair. Some of us don't get in and out of the chair very gracefully. I don't need sharp edges when my butt is heading for the seat. I recommend filing/sanding/emory boarding/ the edges to anyone who buys it. 4)as you sit, the clamp bolt is right there just below the SHARP edges, waiting to rip your pants/hide. I suggest dealing with that however you like. I put a wad of tape on the end to cushion it. That's it. Off to fish. I am using the product after those quick mods.
