The Sparehand QSP-611 Adjustable Bicycle Frame Adapter fits various bicycles without a top bar, including women's bikes. In just seconds, this adapter adds a top bar to your existing bicycle so you can store it with a standard rack or suspended hook. Its closing system on both ends opens sideways for both ease of access and installation, and it adjusts from 22-inches to 32-inches for better versatility. The QSP-611 hangers are coated in molded vinyl to prevent scuffs and other damage. Not bad

This adapter is perfect for its intended use. But like others, I question the longevity of the tiny bungee cord inside the tube. It should be more beefy or there should be a way to repair the unit if/when it breaks. Looks like only way to fix this problem is to drill out the rivets. Thanks but no thanks.

Works great for price but protect your frame.

Only complaint is that it could use a rubber or vinyl coating around the square section of the piece, has caused a couple scratches.

Added silicone to the hooks.

False ad! Cannot mount on bike rack

False advertising as this cannot be used for bike racks. The crossbar actually has a label stating not to strap anything to the bar as most bike racks require. Another reviewer posted this which I apparently missed. Ridiculous waste of time. Glad I didn’t need it immediately

Works really well

Even though it says not to, I used this on my bike carrier and took it on the highway. It's sturdy, clamps well and does the job it's meant to do. I thought it was a bit pricey which is why I knocked off a star in the "value for money" category.

Good enough

I bought a different brand that allowed me to attached the adapter directly to the bike rack. This one only helps to mount the bike to the rack but not to strap it directly to it. This made it a bit more difficult to secure the bike because of the kind of bike rack I have but other than that. All fine.
