Decent and durable

Lasted 4 months

Our children swim between 5/6 days a week. This was worn by our youngest from September and had stretched out and become see through in spots by December. It is not his only suit and was rinsed out and/or washed after each practice. Not sure if I’ll be purchasing again.

Exactly what I wanted, no complaints.

These are exactly what I'd wanted when looking for Jammer swim shorts for my boys. Knee length, fully opaque, functional drawstring, good kind of soft mesh liner in crotch area to keep things in place and...subtle. lol Only thing I would change is if they liner could be sewn in a little more. It tends to get bunched up or kind of tugged forward when my son pulls his suit up or adjusts it during the day when he swims and plays. It makes it a little awkward to try to reach down into his suit to tuck it back down where it belongs. I could probably fix it relatively easily myself but haven't put that much thought or effort into it since it's a small and not important issue as it doesn't seem uncomfortable to my sons. Will buy again next summer too.

Use these for the pool only

THESE ARE NOT FOR BEACH USE! First let me say that I am happy with my purchase. These jammers work great for my son's swim lessons. The fabric is high quality and has held up through several washes. Unfortunately I let him wear them to the beach. Like most kids he frolicked in the water and sand all day. We came home and I ran the jammers through the wash. At his 1st swim lesson of the week, after changing, I realized he had sand on his legs. I'm thinking how the heck did sand make it through the wash. I rinse and wash the jammers again. Next day, same thing. So now I'm irritated. I take the jammers in my hand and stretch out the fabric, sure enough sand is trapped in the actual fabric of the jammers. The fabric is so tight that I can't get all of the sand out by washing alone. I literally have to stretch the jammers and then beat the sand out. I am dually irritated and impressed. Anyway, I will have to buy him another pair for swim. I have spent 2 days trying to get all the sand out to no avail. I added 2 pictures, one with the flash and one without. In the picture I stretched out the material. The little white things on top of the fabric is sand.

Great option for younger/smaller swimmers

My kid loves them. After about 10 wears- they’ve already started getting quite fuzzy with minimal time sitting on the edge of the pool (1st photo shows this). Size is great for smaller swimmers- the Size 4 fits smaller than a boys size 22 (which is the smallest I’ve seen for boys jammers). The 2nd photo shows the size 4 (blue sharks) compared to a size 22 jammer (navy shorts). Despite the fuzz factor I’m still thinking about buying another pair of these for my little one because he likes them so much and the fit is great.

These jammers lasted less than 5 practices before they went see through. The elastic deteriorated and the shorts are now garbage. So back to shopping.
