Excellent sweat and very warm

Feeling is awesome. This is a winter sweat no doubt. important! it runs large so if you are between sizes I'd get the smaller one.

I am a swim coach and instructor with 5 daughters on the competitive swim team. Fair disclosure, our team is sponsored by speedo and in general I am a big fan of their products. I am a 5' 11" female 205 lbs, normally wear an XL. This is listed as unisex and at the time of order didn't have any sizing chart so ordered an XL. It is hard to say if sizing runs correctly since there is no sizing chart but this fits me fairly well. The length is perfect, and the hand pocket is placed exactly where I like it, comfortable for me to use. The width of the body is a little large, so it fits an XL woman and is perfect for layering, but I think would be slightly snug on an XL male. The hood is perfect -- not too long nor too short, and has a shoelace type tie with metal grommet holes to pull it snug if needed. The only oddity is the arms. The arms on this are LONG. I am tall with long arms. Normally, sleeves are too short for me. In the case of this sweatshirt, my hands are completely hidden in the arms. This is normal sweatshirt material and softened up after the first wash. I didn't notice any shrinkage. I was unable to find any manufacturing flaws or mis-sewn seams. This arrived in a plastic bag and when opened there was a strong vinegar smell. Since it was sealed in a plastic bag I can only assume it was packaged this way and others may have the same issue. I'm not sure what caused the smell, but it was strong (one of my kids asked who was eating pickles) but after washing was gone. Tagless except for a style tag on the side. Wash instructions are printed on the inside back of the sweatshirt. Made in Pakistan. 100% cotton. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

Every bit a $60 hoodie.

This is a very thick, heavy knit fabric, but yet yields and moves. Has to be the best made hoodie I have ever owned. I have authentic team hoodies and major sports clothing line hoodies, and this one blows them away. Substantial in every way, this is not like the typical sweatshirt hoodie that you think you are going to receive. Has a way better fit than a relaxed cut hoodie that gives a sloppy look, this is more svelte. Absolute quality in every seam and hem, you won't find loose threads. This is a 20% synthetic blend to keep the shape for many washings and the 80% always comfortable cotton that won't pill. I highly recommend drying on med-low and hanging slightly damp to protect the fabric blend. Just like jeans that might have a 2% or more spandex in the fabric. You won't have to shrink this or break it in with a hot dryer. THIS my friends is every bit a $60 hoodie! They also have this in beautiful navy color.

Nice comfy hoodie

The vintage collegiate style look and feel, the logo, the greyish color, it makes this hoodie attractive. It's unisex, and the material is like a soft fleece with 80% cotton and 20% polyester, the size is quite relaxed, so even though the material is not stretchy, it's looser in fitting, not enough to downsize but just stay true to size. The hoodie looks great and is very comfortable to wear.

Great swimming sweatshirt

My son is on the swim team at school and was excited to get this Speedo heavy weight sweatshirt. It's great for after swim meets when swimmers are cold from being in the water! It's really well made, and definitely heavy weight! It's a great fabric - tough enough to last, but soft on the inside.
