Great for plants!

I don't know about shoes but this is great for plants ! We had 2 larger pots that needed something underneath to help with leaking from pot drainage and dirt spills. It's a great size for 2 medium-ish potted plants. Super easy to clean too! Overall it's not super sturdy as it's plastic (if you bend it, it'll crack probably), but we don't move it so there's no chance of breaking.

Handy Well Made and Sturdy Tray

I did not purchase this as a boot tray. I purchased this tray, my second one actually, to use in my indoor garden room. I use on my work table when potting plants or any other task where I need to contain a mess. It's like the perfect tray for this purpose. Just high enough to contain spills while still making it easy to maneuver things around. It's sturdy enough where you can carry it without fear of bending even when it has a decent amount of weight on it. I purchase this second one to use as a drip tray along with the other one I have, when I am hanging branches that have been washed, rinsed and need to drip dry. I only wish they had one a bit larger. I have a large wash tub type sink which makes it very easy to rinse it off. It's a good size so not easy to clean in a kitchen sink say, but I would think most people would probably be using a hose and that would work well. The raised cross hatch pattern makes it a little more difficult to clean without a brush if dirt it packed in, but the added stiffness the groves probably provide is worth it. For the most part a scrub brush with some dish-soap and you're good to go. I can definitely recommend this tray for a multitude of uses. Probably would work great in a vestibule or mud room as a boot tray too :)

Not worth the money

Expensive for what it is. Pretty flimsy and not rubberized like i thought. Just thin plastic. It will work, but you could buy a large tupperware and be just as good

Great for pet dishes

We use it for our cats' food and water dishes works great for keeping debri contained.

Keep your floors clean.

I use the mat just inside the door. Keeps dirty shoes from traipsing all over house. If my deck was covered, I would keep it outside the door.

Multiple Uses

I purchased this to put under my dogs food and water bowls. Really like it, but wish it had non-skid bottom. It tends to shift too easily on the kitchen floor.
