Ummmmm - Hello??? GET IT
So let me start off by saying, I consider myself a mid-level audiophile. Music is my life, and I will spend to the top of the mid-tier (All I can afford) to get the best sound possible. Throughout the years buying Onkyo, Harmon Kardon (When that meant something) and recently buying the Cinehome PRO wireless surround system (which I almost regret at 1600). These speakers by SteelSeries, have made me excited to listen to music again. For under $400 these CANNOT be beat!! Just no denying it!!!! The highs are crystal clear and the SUB puts out Bass like you would not believe, and not just THUMPITY THUMP THUMP BASS, I am talking BEAUTIFUL Bass and MID-BASS notes that are just divine. The system overall is well balanced I honestly have not heard anything like it in this price range or for even more money. I wish I could explain how well the sub actually hits the notes, if you can imagine a symphony and all the low cello notes just stand out crystal clear and smooth, where even more expensive subs will just sound muddy and THPPPPPPY!! lol Hey maybe it is just me but for the money this IS the best in its class...You will not regret buying it!

Versatile
The SteelSeries Arena 7 speakers are good for more than just gaming: I got them for a friend to listen to classical music in her home office. Everyone who has heard them is blown away by how good they sound.

Actually pretty impressive.
Overall I’m pretty happy with these speakers. I bought them because I wanted something that could fit on my desk and under my monitor. I thought I read they were 5.5” tall but Maybe that was without the stand. Fortunately they sound great, almost unnoticeable difference, in front of or behind my monitor with my setup. They do sound flat right out of the box and okay with equalizer settings on the PC. Once I discovered the Sonar App and ran that it made a big difference in sounds quality. These are not going to shake your windows with bass but, they do deliver a clean range of sound once you tune them on the Sonar App. I ran these using Spotify and Playing Call of Duty MW II. They surprisingly deliver on both fronts, especially gaming on COD. Only 4 stars because I wish for the price they had manual bass and treble tuning on the speaker rather than having to run a separate app. Even with that, if you want a nice set of speakers without the subwoofer, these do deliver once tuned and I would recommend them.

Great sound and the color matching lights are awesome
I already had a beefy pair of Alltech Lansing speakers that have always really impressed me but the immersive color matching lights is what sold me on these. The sound is pretty amazing especially if you go under the sonar settings and enable spatial audio. Very close to real surroundsound with only the two speakers. it took me a bit to figure out how to turn the color matching on, you need to go into the software under the engine menu and select reflect under the apps menu. I had another set of color matching lights from some offbrand company but they required you to attach a camera to the top of your monitor. these work directly through the software and his loads better. Overall for the price I’m not sure you are going to find a better set of speakers.

make sure to download the Steelseries gg
to access full features such as the pre installed EQ for certain games and lighting effects, download the steelseries engine. Without it, the audio seems to be less than invigorating

Good sound, not great. Even with Sonar.
The best thing about these speakers are that they look cool, and bluetooth setup and operation is SO easy. The sound coming from the speakers is good if you like low volume sound. But if you like theater sound or mid to high volume music, you are really going to want a set with a subwoofer.

SteelSeries Arena 3 - Decent 2.0 Desk Speakers with average sound
Overall the SteelSeries Arena 3 speakers are decent speakers compared to many other 2.0 speakers. However, I really felt like I was just underwhelmed by the sound. The highs were pretty spot on, but there was little to no mids, and with the 4" drivers, I expected a bit more lows. The sound was very flat overall, which some may like. The overall loudness was also a bit low. While you can listen to these on max volume and there was no distortion, I just felt like it was being held back. For the price, and the 4" speaker drivers i just expected more. While Audiobooks and youtube videos sounded really clear and concise, listening to music I simply wasn't impressed. Perhaps moving up to the Arena 7s might be the sweet spot but at a much higher price.

Do not get these if you want speakers with a headset jack.
I got these speakers because I wanted ones with a mic + audio jack so that I could also plug my headset into them to keep the cables more organized. However using my headset plugged into the speakers causes really bad background static and poor audio quality. The same thing happens to the microphone. The audio quality of the speakers themselves are alright but they also have background static but it isn't as noticeable since they're speakers and not headphones. I am very disappointed with these since I got them for the headset jack but using a headset with that jack is unusable as I described above. I would want to return these and get a refund if I hadn't already opened and used them.

good speaker
surprised by the size of it, decent speaker gotta download the software in order to makes some adjustments, EQ etc. so far no problem, but I couldn't find a way to turn it off when I'm not using it, maybe I'm stupid but could be annoy to some people.

Terrible Speakers for the Price
For $700 these speakers are terrible. They do not get overly loud, there is no power button to turn them on or off, they just shut off automatically once the source they are connect to is turned off (i.e a computer). Even though there is an option to turn RGB lights on/off in SteelSeries app it does not work, so RGB is on all the time. As mentioned before, they do not get as loud as I would expect but when I use them with my Xbox series x they are even quieter. Can barely hear rear speakers. Needless to say I have returned them. Logitech Z906 or G560 (which I also own) are far superior to these and cost much less. Don’t waste your money on these.
