Strapworks MilSpec Flat Nylon Webbing This heavy-duty webbing is very similar to our regular flat nylon, but it’s MilSpec (Military Specification). Flat Nylon is one of the most popular types of webbing on the market for good reason. It is not only strong and durable but also soft and comfortable. It is smooth and has a very nice sheen. The tensile strength (break strength) is 800 lbs for this 1 inch tactical strapping and it is approximately 0.04 inches thick. The flat nylon webbing comes rolled and sealed in protective shrink-wrap. Strapworks MilSpec 17338 Flat Nylon Webbing is a popular choice for a wide variety of military, tactical, hunting and outdoor projects. Create your own custom slings, tactical belts and survival harnesses. It’s also a wonderful choice for adjuster and backpack straps. Pair this military-grade webbing with our MASH hook tactical sling connectors. Due to nylon being able to absorb water (stretches when wet), it is not recommended for use in very wet environments such as river rafting or in heavy rain. Perfect for Dog Harness
I make vest-style dog harnesses and this is perfect in width and strength. It's easy to sew to the vest and adds the right amount of stiffness to hold the D-rings. I will order more in various colors.

Heavy Duty, and doesn't fray
I cut this into strips to wrap around the seat rests in my car for a dog cover. The ends don't fray at all (which I was afraid of), and it's very heavy duty! I would make a bet they'd last a long time outdoors, as well. A great buy!

Thin
Doesn’t add much sturdiness. I sewed this into a dog collar and the collars are flimsy and do not feel as sturdy as I would like.

Just right for Belt Keepers!
So far, so good! I made several belt keepers for my tan tactical belts. The little I've used compares to lightweight webbing I've used in the past.

Used for making molly webbing
I used this to make some molly webbing on a pack. That project overall was not worth it but this strapping worked great. I would purchase this again for that purpose. Also made a couple of vicker style slings from it.

bought this for another purpose but found....flight helmets
bought this for another purpose but found....it is exactly the same webbing in color blue and texture as used on USA Navy flight helmet chin straps and nape straps of the 50's thru 80's+ so I used to restore a few of those.

It's more gold in color than it is coyote brown
I'm not sure what USMC equipment uses this color but I've never seen any of it before. In my pictures you can see this webbing laying on top of a (brand new) USMC ILBE pack waist belt, and some official MARPAT Cordura nylon fabric. You be the judge of how close it is to 498 Coyote Brown. The color looks fine with MARPAT but I assume it will not look very good with any of the solid Coyote brown equipment.

High Quality
Nice thickness and texture. Looks and feels better than what I’ve worked with in past. Much easier to sew with also. I use this for portfolios and backpacks.

Thin strong and superior.
This stuff is fantastic. Thin , light and strong. Reduces weight and bulk on projects and allows you to triple up in tri slides if you so desire. The width may have been a hair narrower then my buckles but not to the degree that other reviews commented on. Not sure how other reviewers are critical of the thickness when its identified in the discription as states its .04 " . Besides why wouldnt you want a thinner stronger product. I'm sold on this stuff I would never order polyproplene, and as far as nylon goes this is the best. Mil spec says enough.
