Didn't fit

It didn't fit my lantern even though it was configured exactly like it would, with four pins in a row and the right size. . How was I to know?

Works with Sears 19.2v Shop Lights

This bulb fits Sears 19.2v battery powered fluorescent light fixtures, although they are about a half inch to an inch shorter than the one that came with it. Most importantly, the socket fits snugly, and the bulb lights. I only have a few hours on this new bulb (so don't know about longevity), but I just ordered a backup bulb for my shop lights - I own 3 of them, and find them useful for emergencies. The price is right at $5.38 with shipping. 4 stars because the bulb is shorter than the one it replaces. Yes, these are hard to find and Sears does NOT stock them. In fact, under warranty, Sears gave me an entire new shop light (replaced the one with the burnt out bulb) simply because they do not stock the bulbs at our local Sears store - go figger!

The light is exactly as listed

This application is for a desk lamp. The original ones are discontinued. These are an excellent substitute. I did have to modify the base, but the lamp is instant on, without flickeing. I did find these same lamps at another source, but the shipping expense was exceedingly high. This was the better alternative.

Fits Perfectly!!

I am soooooo happy I found this. My building changed light fixtures which take these bulbs and they are hard to find. It fit perfectly as that was a concern of mine. Will definitely order more as I only got one to test out

the side a bit off, but worked fine after sanding off a bit

The builder of our house used all types of different bulbs throughout the house and many could not be found in local hardware stores. I was thinking of changing the fixture when I found the bulbs online. They work well but the only issue was that the sides were a big too big for the fixture. Good thing they were made of plastic so I filed it down a bit and they fit great.

Beware Buyer not a Cool white bulb!!

I am very disappointed with these lights. I knew I had to file off the tabs to fit in my lamp as I did some research. But for the price, I decided to go for it. When I got the bulb installed in the lamp I was totally Disappointed to discover the bulbs are not Cool White but a warm white which has a yellow hue. Since I filed the tabs off the one bulb I am stuck with the whole lot. Drat!

This replacement bulb is hard to find anywhere as every manufaturer has moved to LED lights. But if you have older lamps the you are in luck. No the same spectrum but good. Recommended
