Heavy Robe

This robe is as advertised, however some reviews indicated that it ran on the large side. The result for me was that I decided to order a size smaller than I should have. I prefer a robe loose fitting. It is a very heavy terry robe. I bought it to put on after a shower. It’s a little too heavy for me. I kept it, but wouldn’t order again due to fit and weight. It’s also not what I would call soft even after washing.

Very good quality.

This is a nice thick robe. It's very well made and absorbs very well. I use it after my shower so I don't get cold. I'm glad I ordered it in the small size. I'm 5' tall and its ankle length on me.

Comfy

Comfortable and warm robe

This is a great robe, it's breathable, and warm. It is long, hits below my shins which is ideal and exactly what I've been looking for. I'm currently pregnant and I plan to take it with me to the hospital to keep me warm, as well as wear it at home afterwards. My husband has had one just like this for about 4 years now and I wanted to us to have matching robes. It washes well, I haven't had an issue with it. Very comfortable and made of cotton, which is perfect.

I have purchased at least 5 of these in different sizes and colours for myself and for guests. They are made of thick terry cotton and have a good weight to them. I usually dry off with a towel before getting out of the shower, but you could easily use these as a towel if you wanted to without leaving a puddle on your bathroom floor. Wear them over your PJ's or your BD suit and you will be cozy if lounging about. Too bulky for travel. They are nice and long, hitting below the knee for most and also roomy. As made of cotton, they get softer over time too. Colours are truly represented in the photos.

THICK but POOR STITCH/LOOP type

The media could not be loaded. PROS: absorbent, true to colour and sizing; heavy/substantial CONS: cowl too narrow it sits weird but not super bothersome it just needs adjusting every time; stitching could be neater/straighter for the price (not presentable as gift), very little twist on each long loop for the terry fabric means they get easily snagged and will shed any short threads faster as evidenced by the tons of cotton balls formed in our lint catcher after 1st wash; robe feels stiff/rough after drying on low setting (I followed washing instructions but didn’t put any fabric softener to test things out). OVERALL: I wouldn’t have gotten this had I seen this in person coz I know the fabric while thick is one of those that will look uglier than other towels in the longer term. I prefer a shorter pile towel for longevity with shorter loops. It’s still a 3 because it’s not a bad towel, just not as high quality as I expected for the price I paid. WARNING: remove belt when washing or both the loops and the seam of the belt will start to unravel
