A solid compromise between comfortable and warm

A solid compromise between comfortable and warm, but not extremely good in either direction. I've worn these in temperatures in the low 20s under thick jeans, and while it's definitely better than jeans alone, I'm still pretty cold. They feel wonderfully soft to the touch and they're a joy to wear by themselves (and the black ones also completely opaque, which is nice - the white ones definitely are not). The silk is a great fabric. However, there are some prominent seams along each side of each leg that are not exactly what I wanted, and occasionally when I wear them (especially under jeans) the seams cause irritation along the inside of the thigh. Tried both the small and the XS, and the XS was definitely too small (but there seemed to be some variation, as the two smalls I tried seemed to have different sizes). I'm roughly 5'5" and 125.

These base layer pants are perfect. I have this things about material and these are soft and oh so comfortable (not that strange fake material feel). The fit is perfect (I am 5'3" and my weight is 109 and I purchased the Small), they come down to my ankles and fit well everywhere. I tried them on under my skinny jeans and I could not even tell that I had them on. I am ready to purchase another pair! Couldn't ask for more and thanks Amazon for a speedy delivery.

comfy and warm

I have worn these under pants to add an extra layer to my everyday clothes when I was visiting Maine, and by themselves to workout in cool weather in Texas. They are super comfortable and plenty warm for me, but not too warm where I got over heated working out in cool weather. They seem to regulate the temperature well. I don't think i would wear them alone if it were freezing out though. ;)

These are the perfect thickness for wearing under jeans or ski pants without being too thick. I've tried the 100% silk long johns, these are spandex/polyester and are 3 times better. As you layer down after a hard day of skiing, you can wear these pants in public. These are true to size.
