Easy test trip for fish tank

Simple reading.

These are great for my 5 gallon. My betta fish is happy with the adjustments I’ve made thanks to these bad boys. 9/10 because they’re small strips and hard to fish out the bottle.

Fast and easy to understand, what’s not to love

I love these strips, I’ve been using them for a long time and they make testing water so easy, I would suggest them to anyone just starting out up to an expert, much less expensive than a water testing kit and you’re done with them in just a couple minutes, they’ve never steered me wrong. Amazon also sells these for a better deal than any local pet store

They work great and they're cheaper then buying them from my LFS. And it's a 100 count bottle! Definitely going to keep getting these instead of the smaller bottle at the stores around me

Best test strips i've ever used

Best test strips I've ever used, not as accurate as a liquid test, but good enough to get an idea of water quality, I have multiple aquariums and liquid test could take me a day to complete, with these its about an hour and if anything looks high or low then do a full liquid test.. saves time and money. the phone app is easy to use.. only downside is the 100 packs are only available outside UK. only 10s and 25s in UK but mine came from USA quicker than expected, so really no downsides.

Accuracy is quite questionable

The main reason I bought these strips was to quickly determine nitrate levels. Unfortunately, it's not quite reliable to do this. It seems generally ok in accuracy for the other tests (in comparison to my other test kit or when I add Seachem Prime to make my extra-soft water a tad harder, it does change colour appropriately to reflect the change I made), but the nitrate reading just does not really change even when other tests show that I have quite a high nitrate level. Because it doesn't seem to want to read accurately for the test I tend to care about the most, I cannot give it more than 3 stars, and I feel generous.

Para principiantes

Cuando comencé a usar las tiras no tenía ni idea de que necesitaba un acuario, ni mucho menos en lo que consistía un ciclado. Por lo que este producto me ha sido útil ya que puedes medir todos los niveles para tener un acuario saludable. He visto otro medidores pero cada uno son individuales lo que hace elevar los costos y perder atención a otros niveles ya que mucho de nosotros nos enfocamos más en el Ph. En el frasco tiene la tabla de colores para poder hacer la lectura, en lo particular la App de estas tiras me ha servido para poder solucionar algún nivel que no esté correcto, lógicamente te sugiere producto Tetra que te ayudará con el problema sin embargo esto de guiará en el aprendizaje para tener un acuario saludable.

Accuracy diminishes value

I found that with the strips the colors on the strip weren't accurately reflected on the chart on the bottle. I tried using the mobile app to scan the strip to see if I could get a more accurate result but the colors did not match with the results I was getting through that app either. I would try several strips back-to-back and get different results from them. It's a good value for the amount of strips you get but if I have to use 2 or 3 every time I test my water then it's not worth it.

Almost perfect

I have used two other kinds of test strips but I like this one the best. Most important difference is that it provides a larger 'measurement window'. Most of the other strips keep changing colors with time so it is important to hurry up and match the colors exactly at 1 minutes, but this one doesn't change colors quickly after 1 minute. So, easier to use. Only thing I don't like about this is pH measurement. Colors don't really match the chart so I have to make some guesses to figure out the pH.
