My son's 2nd tub

My son had the AngelCare tub, and he loved it, as did we. It's super easy to clean, and he fit great in it...until he hit about 4 months, and then he started trying to launch himself out of it. Then started the search for a bigger tub. This one had really good reviews and looked like exactly what we were looking for. My son took his first bath in it the other day. He definitely loved being able to splash around and be submerged in the water. With the Angelcare tub, he wasn't able to be fully covered in water. However, I did notice that his head kind of leans to the side, and I found myself having to hold it steady so he didn't completely lean over. He cannot sit on his own yet, and does have pretty good head control, but still a little wobbly. Overall, I would recommend this tub. I like that it will grow with him.

Good design

We mailed to this to family's home for bathing our infant while away traveling. The internal seat for a toddler is great-he was well supported to sit independently and stay seated as it does not offer room for extending the legs to stand up. This unit is easy to put in/out of bath as it is lightweight plastic. The non-skid seat for toddler also worked well. Would recommend. Ours did not have suction cups though I did not expect it to have them, so I could not rate "suction power" accurately as it is not relevant to the model we purchased. Our toddler is on the big side for his age so for us it is too small for him now (14 months) but it was perfect for him at 11-12 months (the only timeframe we had it to use while traveling).

Exactly what I wanted!

The photos are accurate to what you receive. Very easy throw away packaging! Nothing is over complicated it’s fairly simple if you have a brain.

Good product but the sling got cut after a year, I am looking to see if I can just order the sling as we need to use this again for our 2nd baby, I dont see any way to request.

Love!

My son is now 4 months, I have been using this tub since birth and I'm still in love! It's so sturdy for my chunk! He is 27.4 inches and 18lbs and this tub is still able to be proped in the tub when I wanna shower too!

Sling leaves red mark on baby’s back

This tub left red marks on my baby’s back when using the sling, because the sling would obviously depress with baby’s weight and her back would be pressed against a risen surface in the centre of the bathtub. I barely used this tub while my baby couldn’t sit up. Now that she sits up, it’s actually pretty good. She is comfortable in the toddler seat and I like the space at the end to keep bath soap and toys. Storing this tub can be an issue because there is no flat surface that can align with the wall and be hooked up. I used the drainage hole to hang it from a hook in my bathroom. If done so, it would hang diagonally.

Great tub, holds the little guy nicely with no slippage!

Honestly, my wife wanted a different model but I loved the price of this one. Now that we have had it, she wouldn't want any other tub. The mush really does hold a newborn (our son is now 2 months) and she is able to have both hands for soaping up the little guy. Other products leave you to hold onto your baby, but this one can truly be hands free. (I don't suggest leaving your baby alone by any means, so I hope you know what I am saying). I will update once he is old enough to be out of the mesh and into the tub portion!

Does what it's intended to well!

This is the third one we've purchased over the years for our children and find it easy to be able to bath our newborn. It's really well built and we know from experience that it can take a little beating without getting damaged. The different stages which are built within make it really easy to switch the baby as they get older. The added mesh is great for newborns but we have yet to use it as the baby can sit comfortably in the tub while being supported with one hand. Definitely recommend!

No me

No me gustó nada! La tina es pequeña, lo cual está bien porque es para un RN, sin embargo, tiene unas “elevaciones” en ambos lados que la hace muy incómoda para poner a un bebé. La hamaca que trae es muy angosta. Mi bebé tiene 3 semanas y debo decir que apenas y cabía. Pedí esta tina para sustituir una que compré en Liverpool mas barata y mejor. Así que prefiero volver a comprar esa de Liverpool.

Muy pequeña, poco práctica

Es muy pequeña, apenas la usamos algunos días, a pesar de que el bebé cabe bien, por el tamaño, no es sencillo mover al bebé dentro de la bañera. Y cuando crece (y crece muy rápido) ya no se puede quedar a jugar en el agua por el mismo tamaño que es tan pequeña y con los asientos que tiene integrados, casi no tiene espacio para jugar y mantener agua caliente suficiente tiempo. Aunque el diseño se ve bonito, no es muy práctica
