Good but not ideal
I usually buy brass hardware for its appearance. Keeping that in mind, these fall a bit short. They are not a "bright" brass, they are rather dull, somewhat oxidized, in appearance. Another reason I did not give them a 5-Star rating is the slotted head. Since brass is a rather soft metal it would be better if they used a Robertson (square drive) head or a Torx (star drive) head to resist striping the head. Always use a generously sized pilot hole so as to not twist off the screw head or break the screw body.
