Great for travel

This shampoo/body bar is great for travel. I’m not sure I could handle using it everyday, as it dries my hair out. The scent isn’t as nice as I’d hoped, but I love the purpose statement of the company.

Nice soap..lathers well, light scent

This is a large bar which lathers well. It's not a deodorant soap, bit it has a fresh fragrance. It does not exfoliate, which is fine with me. I was hoping for a stronger scent, but it's a good bar and a good cause

Perfect

It smells amazing and it lathers up really well. I love that some of the money goes to mobile showers for people living on the streets. I saw a documentary on this and I love it. I will be happy to buy it just because it goes to a good cause and now I love it for how awesome it smells and works. I hope these are the same bars of soap given to people for the mobile showers. Everyone deserves to shower with these and it's good for the environment. I'm impressed.

Best Shampoo Bar for Lather and for Value by the Ounce

This bar lathers brilliantly. Just a couple swipes across your hair and you have SO MUCH lather. It's wonderful as shampoo, face cleanser and body soap. I love everything about this bar so I purchased the two other fragrances as well. Unfortunately, the other fragrances didn't appeal to me so I offered them as gifts to friends. I will NOT return them for a refund because I LOVE the concept of the company that provides free showers to homeless people. I will recommend this product to all my friends because it's such a good feeling to use a great product that is remarkably cheaper by the ounce than any other shampoo bar and to know that you are helping homeless people have the dignity to keep themselves clean. The fragrances are very strong and as I said, this one I absolutely love but the ginger curry one for some reason, was too much for me in the shower so I use it instead as dish cleaner in my kitchen and it's perfect for that. I keep the bar in a soap dish on the kitchen sink and then when I wash my dishes and even my fruit/veggies, I wipe a cloth across the bar and then wash with the cloth. It's perfect because it's natural and does not contain any harmful chemicals.

Much better than the typical

Whlie this soap is a bit expensive it seems to have a little less chemical feel to it. We find the standard bar a bit large to use right out of the box, so I cut it in half and get two bars for one (plus you won't hurt your foot so bad if you happen to drop it while showering). Plus the manufacturer states that they help support the homeless through the sale of this product, so you get to help while getting clean all at the same time:)

Great product. Lathers well!

I’ve been testing out some shampoo and conditioner bars lately, and I do like another brand of shampoo bar, but I wanted to try this one out. I think that it has a little bit more moisturizer than some other shampoo bars on the market, so you may not need a lot of deep conditioning afterwards. That being said, I’m still on the lookout for a good conditioner soap bar. I think that this one lathers up pretty well, so you’re not wasting a bunch of shower water while you’re trying to lather up your shampoo bar. I really appreciate that. This is very well-made soap, moisturizing, and it smells really good. A fresh unisex sent that can be used for the whole family.

Nice smell & excellent purchase.

This arrived very fast, without defect or damage. It is a nice large sized bar. Smells very good too.( is more citrus than flora)l. But a very nice balanced blend of the 2. I think these would make excellent gifts, that go to a good cause. If you have ever experienced homelessness, cared for the homeless in your home or out side of it in any capacity ...this will be a meaningful purchase to you for those in the community you care about.

Conflicted About This

I bought this because I loved the cause behind it and wanted to find something I could use all over my body. Well, I started to get rashes on my arms from this soap. It worked/works great for my hair, but I cannot use it for the rest of my body. I had to result to using my kids’ soap to wash my body.
