Works great, excellent product.
First, Perma-Coil is made in the USA. I'm retired but worked for 11 years as an automotive mechanic. As a mechanic I use Heli-coil brand inserts. They worked fine, however I never liked their plastic insertion tool. Perma-Coil has solved this issue, their insertion tool is steel. Otherwise it works identically as Heli-Coil inserts. I don't think Perma-Coil was around when I turned wrenches 25 years ago, but it's nice that they are here now. Also if you are wondering, yes, they can be stacked. Also liked that these were slightly longer than heli-coils. if you're not in a hurry it may be cheaper on eBay. But you know how the scenario always goes, Gotta have it now!. So Amazon got me out of a jam with next day service. My wife is happy that her car is back on the road.

Local mechanic shop cross threaded and used loctite on bolts...
Awesome quality products, no need to spend more money on the other brand. I took in my car to have a rear engine mount replaced. The folks at the local auto shop went ahead and replaced it but cross threaded 2 of the 3 bracket mounts and added some loctite for me. Needless to say I was not pleased. I drilled out the aluminum holes with a 11/32 bit, threaded them with the provided M10x1.25 (add cutting oil or some lubricant when doing this), and threaded in the Permacoil (hammered out the little pin) and torqued the bolts to spec. Very pleased with the product.

Lifesaver!
I had a whole series of rusted out mounting holes for a trailer hitch. I could get them cleaned up at all. I bought this and a 13/32 drill bit (hardened) and was able to fix them better than new. Extremely easy to install if you take your time. Remember to use cutting oil or something like WD-40. Make sure you are aligned and level on all both axis (keep it straight). Back up a 1/4 or 1/2 turn every 1 to 1-1/2 turns to properly remove the burr. Clean out the tapped hole with a brush or compressed air before installing the coil. I also add a dab of Locktite before installing as well.

Would be 5 star product with better instructions
Product worked great, however be advised it comes with virtually no instructions. If this is your first time using this type of tool you are going to need to find instructions or a youtube video to show you how to use it. I did find a helpful youtube video so problem solved for me. But the manufacturer really should provide better instructions or at least a link to an instructional video in the product description. Also you need a specific size drill bit (I think 13/32) that is not included.

Works well, costs less.
This is a standard "wire" type thread repair kit. The kit is significantly less expensive than the best known brand but performs just as well. The included drill and tap performed well and my thread repair went off without a hitch.

Worked great, a quality tool that does what it should.
I was a little hesitant to use the plastic guide because it required a good bit of effort to thread the coils into it, but there were enough coils in the kit that I figured I'd give it a try. To my surprise the guide worked perfectly for the two coils I had to insert. I did nothing special to align the tool with the threaded hole but both coils inserted without a hitch.

Just as good if not better than Helicoils!
Needed to replace threads for my exhaust manifold studs. I have always used Helicoils but went with these because of the cost difference and I am really glad I did. Well made, tap worked perfectly. Didn't come with drill bit, this wasn't a deal breaker, I am used to Helicoils not coming with them either. You need a 13/32" x 5-1/4" bit to get the job done. I will be using these in the future.
