Packaging ruins a perfectly good hat!!

I bought a similar Tickled Pink hat in a store a couple of years ago and have loved it, but as it aged it got too floppy. So I ordered this one. It's probably a nice hat but came with the brim folded over all the way around and the crown smashed flat. I have heavy things around the bring and plastic bags in the crown to fill it out, but so far it is just a wrinkled mess. Why would you package something like this???
