Beautiful and works great!

I’ve been wanting to review this .. but just had to give it extra time to be sure. The arrival of this toaster caused quite a row! I was worried what the neighbors might be thinking. It took a few days to get settled. One of us was adamant it didn’t work properly. But I wasn’t willing to give up without giving a fair try. I’m not an engineer I can’t explain it. But I’m sure the elements are working, just not as you might expect. The upper tube may not appear to glow red. But it serves a clear purpose. Something else is going on. It’s uniquely designed and what I can say is it’s perfectly suited for French or homemade country loaves, large cuts of crusty sour dough, or spelt, not to forget muffins, bagels or other specialty items. It toasts slowly, evenly, to just the perfect crisp that you control with watchful eyes. The design is beautiful. Yes, my doubtful spouse took some heavy handed convincing , just to try it. But then very quickly came around! It looks great, and I’m the happiest toast master I’ve ever been. I must recommend a handy pair of toast tongs to go with. Ours was a gift from an old friend. It’s a simple design of bamboo with a magnet to keep conveniently nearby We’ve had it for years, as I expect we will this toaster.

Cute toaster!

I wanted a toaster where I could view my bread and toaster strudels while they were toasting. I also wanted something that was stainless steel so it would match the rest of my kitchen. I sat on this toaster in my wishlist for almost 3 months before I bought it. I kept asking myself if I really wanted to pay that much for a toaster. But I finally bit the bullet and decided that I wanted it. I've had it for a week now and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Yes it is more expensive than most toasters but it's also really nice. I really can't overstate how incredibly convenient it is to see the toast level without having to peer down into a hot toaster slot. I've used this everyday since I got it. My only concern was that the top 2 heating elements did not visually appear to heat up, but after looking at the questions and answers here on Amazon it appears that is by design, and not an error (heat rises, the top heating elements don't need to get as hot) If you're on the fence about this toaster like I was I would really recommend just purchasing it. Now that I have it in my house I can't believe I waited so long.

It started as a joke…

…on Facebook. I posted that I wished someone made a see-through toaster because I kept burning toast! A friend promptly sent me the link to this toaster and, I’m happy to say I haven’t burned any toast, pop tart, toaster strudel, English muffin or bagel since I bought it!

glass window so you can see your toast burning?

I love this toaster. I would imagine their will be several companies that redesign & start making toasters w/an glass window. Only complaint is, for the bread I use the slot isn't quite long enough to fit 2 slices of bread in. Also, it has uneven toasting. Maybe that's because I go ahead and put 2 pieces in at a time, they just overlap a tad.

I really love this toaster, I control how dark or light I want my toast, extremely easy to use and clean. The toaster has a long wide slot for bagels,and long bread,I would definitely buy it again,it also looks great.

Who knew watching your bread in the toaster could be so entertaining?! Everyone loves this toaster! It’s so modern and attractive and makes toasting your bread to the perfect shade a fun breeze! The glass is also easily removable for cleaning. Idk who invented this, but THANK YOU! I know many friends and relatives have also purchased one after seeing mine!

Great Toaster

It works perfectly and toasts on both sides unlike what one person said. Best part you never have to cut a piece of long bread in two. That was exactly why I bought it in the first place.

Good toaster

Works well, however by design it makes a 'drier' style of toast because of the position of the heating elements and that toasting is virtually a hot wind rising through the machine.
