Cute ice cubes

Fun novelty ice is easy to make, but the shape of a lime wedge becomes remarkably similar to a regular cube from the ice maker within moments of adding some gin and tonic, which takes the fun out of the novelty ice. Buy multiple sets if you’d like more than one drink at a time. Perhaps it would be more visible in a beverage if you froze something with color, like orange juice or added food coloring to water.

Lime shapes

Still just an ice mold, you can use this for several things. Plain ice shaped like a lime wedge, lime wedges frozen in ice, frozen limeade, or anything else your imagination can create. One piece is solid plastic, the other is the slightly more flexible silicone, easy to fill, there are also included instructions. The fill line is not too high, the point is to get enough liquid in, and it does need to squirt out the top, to avoid bubbles. I just use a thin towel when making ice to catch the water, and I typically make several trays at a time (a lot of molded trays do the same). Yes, you will have to do several batches to make more than a couple drinks worth, but once you get in the habit, it's no problem. You can also buy more molds if you like. I have a variety of ice available, in different flavors and sizes, so it typically isn't a problem to not have a massive bin of these ready. When ice is done, I have either small bins or bags I put these in and label with what they are. I do have a stand alone freezer though, so the one attached to my fridge is mostly ice. I don't have any issues with these molds, it's one of the more fun shaped sets I have.

Best used in margarita!

I recently purchased the Tovolo Lime Wedge Ice Molds (Set of 2) and I am extremely satisfied with their performance. These ice molds are not only fun and unique in design, but they also deliver excellent results for my drinks. One of the standout features of these ice molds is their slow-melting capability. Another great ice mold from Tovolo.

My kids love using these lime wedge shaped ice molds, in order to get cute ice shapes in their water. The molds are a good amount smaller than your large ice cube molds, which allows them to fit easily in my freezer. The ice is easy to pull out after running some warm water through the mold. I like the bright green color as well. The set contains two molds, and each mold holds two cubes. Tovolo seems to be the king of ice molds and this one is another winner.

Tovolo does it again

I've purchased Tovolo products in the past, such as their sphere ice molds and when I saw this, I knew this would be a fun addition to the home bar. Simple to make by following the instructions, and just a recommendation to fill over the sink so you don't spill. These lime wedges will be a fun addition to many drinks

So cute and simple to use!

These ice cubes are the most adorable thing! Little lime wedges? They will be perfect to put in lemonade for parties! The mold was super easy to fill, and super easy to get the ice cubes out of. There was a tiny sheet of instructions as well so I knew exactly how to fill the mold! I can't wait to make tons of little lime wedge ice cubes

Super fun to use

These were super fun to use and easy. They come with a fill line, a little goes a long ways. They freeze in a couple of hours and look like a lime or lemon wedge. My only complaint is I wish I had more! Fun to add to a drink or even a pitcher. It would be great to add some real juice or color to this too!
